TTC

Hey so me and my fiancé have recently discussed our future plans and have decided to start trying for our second child, our first was just kind no contraception and chancing it and kind of a ‘what will be will be’ as we wasn’t sure if I could conceive due to history of issues within my family however this time we’re really trying and I was wondering if anyone has any advice or tips or anything? As we want to of conceived before may next year.

Have a read of 'it starts with the egg' book. You can probably get one on vinted cheap! Best of luck ❤️

I’d definitely start tracking your cycle and ovulation if you don’t already, even just with an app and ovulation tests 😊 having sex every 2–3 days throughout your cycle can take some pressure off trying to perfectly time it too. I’d also start folic acid now if you haven’t already. Try not to put too much pressure on yourselves though, easier said than done 😂 wishing you lots of luck 🤍

In the same boat. Came off the pill end of July, I still haven’t had my period so I started taking LH strip tests 1st September to try and see when I’m ovulating and also started folic acid

HELP! Is this a positive test?

There is a very (very!) faint line. I am only 5 months pp and freaking out because my baby is still so small, I wasn’t tracking my cycle so no clue when ovulation happened.

Is this a positive test? Does how faint the line is have a bearing on how healthy or viable the pregnancy is?

Rhesus negative

I’ve been told today ( at my 28 week appointment) that I have a rare blood type, I’ve had the anti D Vaccine afterwords, I’m just a bit surprised that no one has mentioned it until now / nor has my baby been tested when they said it could be a risk of our blood mixing and causing antibodies? Has anyone else had this, should I be concerned? ( for context I’ve given blood loads in my life and I’ve never been told that I have a rare blood type before now, nor did my mum know anything about it!)

Is this dark enough for how many weeks I am?

I’m sorry girlies. I’m probably expecting too much so early on.

I’m reading so much about “dye stealers” and mine are like this. It’s worrying me. I’m smashing through the tests waiting to see a darker line.

Granted this is a cheapie, my clear blue ones have said “1-2 weeks”. I used a clear blue on Monday (when I first found out) and then this morning.

I’m hoping it’ll say “2-3 weeks” next week for some reassurances

In the mean time, the cheapie/traditional ones are this faint 😩.

4 weeks 6 days xxx

Indent or positive

Is this a positive or an indent? Ive got a four year old and 6 month old and when I took it this morning it said negative in the 3 minute window but I had to leave the test and came back to it hours later which I know makes it invalid. Does it look positive or an indent? Should I do a pink dye test instead

Telling kids about seperation

Hi all, my partner and I have recently split and plan to tell the kids this weekend. Im feeling sick about having the conversation....are there any words of advice on how best to deliver the news to the kids? They're all 5 and under so I guess mainly my 5 year old will understand what's going on....
