Postpartum period really heavy!

Has anyone else who previously had heavy cycles before having a baby or even not, struggled with an exceptionally heavy second period postpartum?

My first one was lighter than before having my little one and this second one is crazy! Super tampons are only lasting me 45 mins - hour.

I feel ok in myself but I wondered if anyone has had the same. Is this normal? I’m going to ask my GP Monday but I thought asking on here first would be helpful…

Mine definitely got heavier postpartum... But they were never heavy before so it could be normal for you if you feel okay, but that sounds super heavy and worth mentioning to your GP xx

Yes with my first baby my second period was horrific, I genuinely thought it couldn’t possibly be normal! I was bleeding through super max tampons and onto a pad an hour.

I have PCOS so am used to heavy periods but it was unlike anything I’d ever experienced. My first period was light, second horrendous so so heavy and my third period was totally back to normal x

Did anyone have their first baby sooner than their second?

I had my first son at 39 weeks on the dot now I’m pregnant with my second I’ll be 39 weeks tomorrow I didn’t think it would be possible that I would be pregnant longer the second time round I’m so frustrated now as I keep telling myself any day now this happen to anyone else?😭

Pregnancy Anxiety

I need some advice/tips on handling anxiety during pregnancy. I’m 16 weeks, have had 2 private + 2 nhs scans - I have had nothing to indicate something is going wrong however I can’t help but worry constantly that something bad is going to happen!

I felt a flutter/movement yesterday, but not today, so naturally I am spiralling again.

I just want to know if this is normal? When I have mentioned it to the midwife she tells me anxiety is normal for first time pregnancies but I don’t know if worry to this level is concerning or not?

Thank you 🙏

Is being too overprotective and 'spoiling' my baby really a bad thing?

I've been told I'm overprotective and spoiling my baby. Has anyone else experienced this? How do you handle it and feel confident in your parenting choices?

Calories in first trimester?

I’m 4’11 and currently eating 1850 calories but all the calculators out there say I should be eating around 1600.

What was your caloric intake take in first trimester and if you don’t mind sharing height and weight too! Trying to just gauge if I’m really that far off
