Torn between religions and life choices

I was born into a Muslim family and raised to believe Islam was the only way. I was never taught to pray or never understood anything about Allah or the quaran. Though I once thought Islam was peaceful there are many things I do not agree with and the fact I must learn a foreign language just to understand prayer again is something I question. I was forbidden to enter a church or read the bible.
Now as an adult I am completely torn. I have children we ‘raise as Muslim’ despite never praying or understanding anything about Islam. Right now I don’t believe in anything I just know there is a god. I don’t want to go to hell but I don’t know what religion is the real one.
I don’t want to raise my kids the way I was raised I want them to have a religion but then should they wish to investigate other religions or convert them I will support that whole heartedly.
I want to believe. I want to belong. What do I do?

You don’t have to force yourself to pick a religion immediately 🤍 If you believe there is a God, maybe start there and simply pray in your own words asking for guidance. Then learn about Islam, Christianity and any other faith you feel drawn to from reliable sources, rather than only what you were told growing up.
I think it’s actually really healthy that you want your children to understand why they believe something and still feel free to question it. Faith chosen through understanding is very different from faith chosen through fear. Take your time — you’re allowed to explore without having all the answers yet ❤️

I’m Muslim, and honestly reading this made me feel like maybe you were never really given the chance to discover Islam for yourself. Being raised Muslim and actually understanding Islam are two very different things. If you genuinely believe there is a God and you want to know Him, I’d say give yourself the chance to explore Islam properly, ask questions and read the Quran in a language you understand. You don’t have to suddenly know how to pray or understand everything either. If you find your way back to Islam, you can literally start from zero, just like Muslim children do when they first learn to pray, and slowly learn the basics and build from there. You don’t have to be perfect before you start. Allah knows your intentions, He knows what’s in your heart and He knows every effort you make to learn and come closer to Him. I also wouldn’t judge Islam only by how it was taught to you or by the people around you, because Muslims are human and we can get things wrong too. Take your tim

Take your time, ask the difficult questions and genuinely ask God to guide you to what is true.

As a Muslim I don’t blame you for feeling this way. It sounds like you were taught to follow Islam without really being taught or given the chance to understand it.
If you still want to explore it start small. Read the Quran in a language you understand, learn about Allah. Also be careful who you learn from. Unfortunately there are people who are very harsh, extreme or judgmental and can make religion feel frightening. That doesn’t mean they represent Allah or Islam correctly. Allah is described again and again as the Most Merciful and Most Compassionate.
You don’t need to suddenly pray perfectly, wear hijab or change everything overnight. Learn at your own pace. And you are absolutely free to explore other religions too. Ask God sincerely to guide you to the truth and give yourself time. Faith should come from understanding and conviction not fear or pressure. 🤍

HELP! Is this a positive test?

There is a very (very!) faint line. I am only 5 months pp and freaking out because my baby is still so small, I wasn’t tracking my cycle so no clue when ovulation happened.

Is this a positive test? Does how faint the line is have a bearing on how healthy or viable the pregnancy is?

Rhesus negative

I’ve been told today ( at my 28 week appointment) that I have a rare blood type, I’ve had the anti D Vaccine afterwords, I’m just a bit surprised that no one has mentioned it until now / nor has my baby been tested when they said it could be a risk of our blood mixing and causing antibodies? Has anyone else had this, should I be concerned? ( for context I’ve given blood loads in my life and I’ve never been told that I have a rare blood type before now, nor did my mum know anything about it!)

Is this dark enough for how many weeks I am?

I’m sorry girlies. I’m probably expecting too much so early on.

I’m reading so much about “dye stealers” and mine are like this. It’s worrying me. I’m smashing through the tests waiting to see a darker line.

Granted this is a cheapie, my clear blue ones have said “1-2 weeks”. I used a clear blue on Monday (when I first found out) and then this morning.

I’m hoping it’ll say “2-3 weeks” next week for some reassurances

In the mean time, the cheapie/traditional ones are this faint 😩.

4 weeks 6 days xxx

Faint positive at 13DPO??

I thought I was out this cycle, but I’m due on my period today and I didn’t come on. Took this test this evening, and this is the result.

Picture taken a few minutes after the test was done, but would this really be as faint as shown on the day of missed period??

Indent or positive

Is this a positive or an indent? Ive got a four year old and 6 month old and when I took it this morning it said negative in the 3 minute window but I had to leave the test and came back to it hours later which I know makes it invalid. Does it look positive or an indent? Should I do a pink dye test instead
