Hi ladies
I'm only 7 months into exclusively feeding my son. I had one period at 6 months which I was surprised about. It's now been 6 weeks on Wednesday since my last period and I was like clockwork before every 4 weeks. I did a test which was negative but I'm worried now so looking for your experiences, did your cycle become irregular when exclusively feeding, and when can I expect another cycle?

My period was irregular when i first got it back while breastfeeding

With mt first baby i had 1 period at 9 months then didn't have another till 12 months pp, then it was irregular till about 14 months!

Full time nursing for one year and no period yet! Not pregnant
Do you allow family members to tickle your child? I personally find it really hard to watch as I hate being tickled, and although my daughter is kind of smiling i donāt think she enjoys it. How do you tell them to stop doing it? Or am I being over the top?
My daughter is almost 15 months

My 3month old has started to keep drinking while she falls asleep? As in, Im nursing her, shes suckling, and then she nods off but...just keeps suckling? Lazily, but definitely still chomped on. She fights me when I try to break the seal, and if I dont remove the nipple from her she'll sleep-suckle for 20, 30min easily. When I do remove it successfully she wakes a few minutes later, absolutely furious!
Is this a 3month thing? My poor nipples š¢

How soon after your sections did you go for a bath, Iāve read your not meant to soak the scar/wound in a bath but doesnāt say when you can š«£ sometimes a shower just doesnāt cut it for āme timeā š
Also how are people keep it dry, I have a slight overhang so looking for the best way to keep the scar dry without rubbing it with a towel like I want too!

Is it just me or do most MILās constantly criticise the way you parent as a mum. She has never really seen my husband do much other than hold baby or change the occasional nappy, and that apparently makes him the best dad in the world! Meanwhile I do everything as the mum and she has never said anything like that to me. Not even the slightest compliment, and I know that Iām trying my best but how do I not let this get to me. My husband doesnāt even offer to take the baby for a while whilst I rest or take a shower, I have to ask!! It might be the postpartum hormones taking over but I just want to be able make it clear to her that I take care of the baby 95% of the time.

We started out with a combo of breast feeding and bottle feeding (formula and expressed milk) but I found breast feeding is just easier, quicker, less dishes.
Baby girl is coming up on 8weeks old and my partner is very uncomfortable with me breastfeeding with anyone around. I do my best to be discreet and respectful of his feelings but babies run on baby time. He wonāt let me feed our baby if we are in public, I have to go to the car. If his family is over to see the baby I have to leave the conversation and go to another room while they continue to visit.
Has anyone elseās partner been uncomfortable? How did you navigate the conversation of āIām going to feed our baby- idc if it makes you uncomfortableā without a huge fight?
Thanks in advance for any thought or advice!
