I miss when I liked my husband

The title says it all. I miss when I liked my husband. I miss the way I used to look at him proudly and how I always wanted to be wrapped up in him. I miss when I was interested in the things he was. I miss being attracted to him. So much has changed and I just don't really feel connected to him any more. I don't look at him with adoration. It's just not what it used to be. He doesn't feel like my best friend anymore. I miss the excitement and passion we used to have... and good sex. I miss just being there for each other instead of feeling like a burden. I just miss having a man around that I actually like and likes me back. Now he just gives me the ick.

Advice is this a bit odd?

We’ve been together for years and 2 little kids has definitely put a stress on our life - can’t say it hasn’t.

My partner has never been too fussed about sex from my opinion. We’ve had lots of conversations about this and in some ways I’ve given up in recent times but we do still have sex maybe once / twice a month.

But I came back last month and found bottle of lube I’d never seen which upset me as he always says he doesn’t really like lube. It was on our desk / computer table. He said he’d had a wank while I was out. It was old like he said as I checked the date of it 2021 but he’s obviously gone to the shop and bought this. I also noticed around about this time that he had shaved his pubes/ neatened them up a bit.

He does does team sports but has done for years - but he hasn’t shaved this area for years I don’t think. Haven’t paid too much attention. He said at the time when I asked him that he’s losing hair now he getting older.

Today I saw he hadn’t shaved and clearly this wasn’t right - it looked like it always done so can’t have been losing hair.

I did ask him about this and said it’s because it’s itchy around here. Made me feel bad for asking but I don’t know - all seems odd.

Any ideas what’s going on here? I don’t feel he’d have time for cheating tbh - his hours vary but nothing noticeable but something feels a bit odd or am I paranoid?

Could all be innocent but I’m naive - could he have been on some sort of video thing that day?
