People pleasers don't please others

If you're a self proclaimed people pleaser, please don't. I know it feels agreeable and diplomatic. I know you think its a way to keep peace and maintain relationships.

But rarely do people pleasers hide their true feelings as successfully as they think. The people on the receiving end of your pleasing can often tell you don't actually want to do the thing, or you don't actually like them, and it just makes you come across as insecure or ingenuine.

So now you're unhappy because youre going against your own preferences, and the recipient is unhappy because your words and behaviors and vibes don't sync up. It makes people question your motives and makes you seem untrustworthy. Have the confidence to be true to yourself for everyone's sake.

Totally agree! I always tell ppl, it’s okay to say NO. My sister is a ppl pleaser and the only ppl who get anything out of it or happy when she folds for them are manipulators & users. bt usually she and the recipients are never happy cuz my sister jus does things to please others at her own expense. I don’t even ask her for anything cuz I know she will just say yes to please me cuz she can’t say No & bt then complain abt it later. lol very exhausting being in her shoes so I told her it’s best to jus stop ppl pleasing & self abandoning.

Rant about leaving work !!

So, I had two previous children before meeting my partner and didnt want more children. I raised them basically on my own whilst working. I met my now fiance who is amazing and we decided we wanted a 3rd. I however said if I was to have another baby now I want to enjoy it and be able to focus on being a mum and not juggling too many things like work aswell as I had a busy job. My partner is more then happy to support us as a family and is amazing. Im not 17 weeks and left my job just before the summer holidays as we were moving anyway and it just felt like the right time as I worked term time.
The amount of people the are gobsmacked when I tell them im not working now im focusing on my baby and my older kids and being the home maker.
Like the look of confusion!
What's wrong with mums being mums and not carrying a million things at once?
Especially since my fiance is happy to look after us all financially.
Im a modern woman ive juggled ive done it all independently but whats actually wrong with traditional roles too these days.

It's making me feel subconsciously guilty. 🤔

Partner has pretty much lost interest in sex since I got pregnant

It's been 3 and a half months.. he says he still fancies me and smacks my butt and grabs my boobs but says there is just nothing going on down there.. he's said it's his antidepressants and it happens sometimes but we used to have sex constantly.. I'm just worried he's gone off me cause of the baby... Has this happened to anyone else?

Bank account

I’m wanting to open a savings account for my little girl and was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for what’s best? I’ve done some research and have an idea of what I might go for but there may be people on here more wise with these things, who may have good tips so just want to double check before I commit to anything 😅 TIA x
