Bank account

I’m wanting to open a savings account for my little girl and was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for what’s best? I’ve done some research and have an idea of what I might go for but there may be people on here more wise with these things, who may have good tips so just want to double check before I commit to anything 😅 TIA x

We used the Lloyds junior one I think, it’s locked till 16 and you can deposit into it as much as you want, and if you want to make any changes you have to go in store, there’s no way to access it online so kinda good for parents who might be tempted to withdraw.
Can’t remember the interest rate but think it’s same or just a little over national rates. And it was the best rates we found at the time after looking at a few. But obviously rate go up and down so we don’t depend too much on that, we just deposit into it monthly or whenever and leave it there.

I've a child's account with my bank that child benefit goes in, I dip in it to buy things
Then I've an ISA with shepherds friendly that has a set amount in each month that no one can touch

All his child benefit and money gifts go in here

We chose socks and shares cos it's longterm investment over years. We have a balanced risk (slightly higher return but not a high risk account) cos it's in its first year. We'll choose to a safer risk (less return) next year or next couple of years when there's a bit more money in

We have the Halifax Kids monthly saver that we pay a set amount into each month. Think it’s currently 5% interest.

Trans-persons

As a Christian, disagreeing with the trans lifestyle due to religious beliefs, should I use their preferred pronouns? I don't want to push them away and obviously the most important part is they don't know Jesus. He said "come as you are". But I don't want to affirm the life style either. I'm conflicted. My sibling is dating a trans person and I'm just lost on what to do and don't know where else to ask.

Rant about leaving work !!

So, I had two previous children before meeting my partner and didnt want more children. I raised them basically on my own whilst working. I met my now fiance who is amazing and we decided we wanted a 3rd. I however said if I was to have another baby now I want to enjoy it and be able to focus on being a mum and not juggling too many things like work aswell as I had a busy job. My partner is more then happy to support us as a family and is amazing. Im not 17 weeks and left my job just before the summer holidays as we were moving anyway and it just felt like the right time as I worked term time.
The amount of people the are gobsmacked when I tell them im not working now im focusing on my baby and my older kids and being the home maker.
Like the look of confusion!
What's wrong with mums being mums and not carrying a million things at once?
Especially since my fiance is happy to look after us all financially.
Im a modern woman ive juggled ive done it all independently but whats actually wrong with traditional roles too these days.

It's making me feel subconsciously guilty. 🤔

Going back to work

Am loosing it

I will be resuming back to work soon
Myself and my partner works full time
I work day shift and he does night shift
Now my partner is saying , he won’t be able to look after the baby while I am work cos he needs the day to himself to catch up with his sleep
He is insisting we take her to a daycare during the pay and that we must spilt the cost of daycare 50/50

It is reasonable or I am just overthinking ?
