yes, it’s gone really well. look up the three day potty training on tiktok

Yes, he's pretty much potty trained at home, doesn't wear a nappy at home very often. But he's just moved to a new nursery and doesn't tell them when he needs to go and can't get to the toilet on his own there, so he's in a nappy at nursery.
I know lots of people say once you've started not to go back to nappies, but that's not realistic for everyone and it's fine if it's not linear. He also has to travel 45 minutes in the car to grandparents twice a week for childcare, and we haven't braved no nappy in the car yet, because he's likely to have an accident and I don't think that's fair.
But for the first couple of days, nappy off naked lower half and just encourage sitting on the potty every now and then. Don't make a fuss of accidents, just clean up and try again

Honestly, we have a potty, he’ll sit on it fully clothed and act out the whole thing, but god forbid I suggest he sits when we take clothes off at bath time

We’ve been training just at home for the last 3/4 weeks. My LB has mostly got it now if hes naked from the waist down but the moment we try to put him in pants he pees in them and doesn’t seem to care that he’s wet. Nursery don’t seem as keen to encourage him either so we can’t get rid of the nappies just yet. I need to brave leaving the house Nappy-less soon and teach him how to pull down his pants. He doesn’t tell me when he needs to go but will run and put himself on the potty so verbal communication needs a lot of work too.
I'm currently stay at home mom with a 2 1/2 year-old and expecting 🙏🏼💕💙 I have the option of putting my oldest into daycare around the corner twice a week for a couple hours a day. The Mom guilt in me keeps going back-and-forth if it's the right thing to do ...I think it would be good for all of us, especially her to have her own thing and get 1:1 attention learn new skills, socialize make friends, etc. what would you do? Would you keep your oldest home with you or send them for a bit part-time to help with the adjusting postpartum, etc.

We’ve been weaning for about a month now and she’s currently having two meals a day. I’m often out and about during lunch time so tend not to do it then. I have no idea how quickly I should be upping the meals (and snacks). What are other people’s experiences?

What can you do if you and your partner have very different parenting styles and you don’t like what they do?
For context purposes son is nearly 1. I’m all for co-regulating and responding to my child’s every need. We co-sleep, breastfeed, and my son has a very secure bond with me and has separation anxiety away from me.
My husband takes a more hand off approach, thinks we shouldn’t pick up and comfort our son every time he’s crying if it’s not an emergency (I.e he’s injured), and should let him figure out his emotions on his own.
My husband thinks the fact our son has a very secure attachment to me and seeks me out for comfort is effecting his relationship with our son. I said he should be striving to build his own secure attachment with our son and be less concerned with my relationship to him.
What are your thoughts on this?

Daughter is 6.5 months and we started “complementary foods” alongside EBF 2 weeks ago.
I know foods at this stage are more for exploration and learning skills, but she is really not very interested in eating.
All strong signs of readiness and shouts when we eat and tries to grab our food. But the moment we try to feed her she will actually swallow 1 teaspoon total, MAYBE 2 on a good day. She will spit most out and then clamp her mouth shut.
We’ve tried purées, BLW and loading spoon to give to her. She will take the spoon herself and open her mouth but the food ultimately ends up in her hand/on her face/in her lap.
Anyone else??
