Teeth?
Just wondering if anyone's LO's have got teeth yet. Mine has just turned 8 months and there doesnt seem to be any signs of them yet. She has been teething for months but I cant even really feel any under the gums

My nearly 8m old has just about cut his first in the bottom. I was willing to wait for this milestone š
Mine's got 8 teeth out already š started when he was 5.5months old. They say the later the teeth come out the stronger they are š¤£
My baby will be 8 months in just under a week and she has two and a third is about to cut through. Iām terrified of when this top one comes through š„²

No teeth for us either and have been teething since 2.5 months š„² its so frustrating to see the babies go through it for so long without seeing the teeth yet but I've heard it can take it's sweet time

My daughters just over 8
months, has been teething since 3.5 months and cut her first tooth about 2 weeks ago, bottom right which is now about halfway out. The bottom left has also started to come through. They all develop so differently

Husband's friend is moving in with us
So I received a message from my husband saying his friend is coming back to the city TODAY and has nowhere to stay and heading to the homeless shelter, so he offered to stay with us. We don't have a basement suit so he would stay in our spare room. He is coming back to the city from rehab and he has a court appearance for stealing a car, driving with no license and fck knows what else.....
I do not want him around my child!! I'm literally freaking out. He is nice to talk to if passing by but I don't trust him. And I sure don't trust him around my toddler.
What do I do? They're already at home.
My husband wants to help him to get straight, but we already did when he first moved to the city. Helped him, move, gave him a lot of stuff for the apartment he rented, vacuum, beddings, old computer etc. to get started. And he just doesn't care. He doesn't work a job longer then a month, lives on benefits, then got involved with people doing drugs. What if he tells them our address saying he is staying there?? I don't want the police to come knocking at our door or he is "friends" he left behind when fled to rehab...
What do I do???

Different parenting styles
What can you do if you and your partner have very different parenting styles and you donāt like what they do?
For context purposes son is nearly 1. Iām all for co-regulating and responding to my childās every need. We co-sleep, breastfeed, and my son has a very secure bond with me and has separation anxiety away from me.
My husband takes a more hand off approach, thinks we shouldnāt pick up and comfort our son every time heās crying if itās not an emergency (I.e heās injured), and should let him figure out his emotions on his own.
My husband thinks the fact our son has a very secure attachment to me and seeks me out for comfort is effecting his relationship with our son. I said he should be striving to build his own secure attachment with our son and be less concerned with my relationship to him.
What are your thoughts on this?

No judgment please.... to send toddler into daycare or not to send?
I'm currently stay at home mom with a 2 1/2 year-old and expecting šš¼šš I have the option of putting my oldest into daycare around the corner twice a week for a couple hours a day. The Mom guilt in me keeps going back-and-forth if it's the right thing to do ...I think it would be good for all of us, especially her to have her own thing and get 1:1 attention learn new skills, socialize make friends, etc. what would you do? Would you keep your oldest home with you or send them for a bit part-time to help with the adjusting postpartum, etc.

Fantasies
Iām gonna be honest in my 20ās I was promiscuous and I had threesomes with men and women. My husband keeps asking me what type of fantasies do I have and because Iāve pretty much done what I wanted to do in the past I donāt have any freaky fantasies that I want to fulfill. He got upset saying since Iāve done things in the past then why donāt I want to do them with him. Honestly Iāve gotten it outta my system and weāre 38 with 3 kids. Also my husband gets jealous if a guy says hey to me. Like at my 20 yr reunion he damn near had a heart attack because I hugged 3 guys. None of which I dated and I barely dated in HS because Iām from a small town and Iām related to half the town. But him getting upset because I donāt wanna threesome with him and some other random guy is weird to me especially how jealous he gets

Not interested in eating
Daughter is 6.5 months and we started ācomplementary foodsā alongside EBF 2 weeks ago.
I know foods at this stage are more for exploration and learning skills, but she is really not very interested in eating.
All strong signs of readiness and shouts when we eat and tries to grab our food. But the moment we try to feed her she will actually swallow 1 teaspoon total, MAYBE 2 on a good day. She will spit most out and then clamp her mouth shut.
Weāve tried purĆ©es, BLW and loading spoon to give to her. She will take the spoon herself and open her mouth but the food ultimately ends up in her hand/on her face/in her lap.
Anyone else??
