Is anyone else in a situation where you and your partner just aren’t getting on?
We have just bought a house and my other half has done everything for the house buy I said if he wanted to move when baby was so small then it was all on him as bubba was only a month old when the process started, he accepted this but it’s now being thrown in my face. I have done every night feed for 8 months baby doesn’t sleep longest stretch I get is 4hrs and that’s rare I’m up 5-7 times a night and im exhausted, he never wakes and says let me do this feed you stay in bed. he’s frustrated we’re not being intimate but I genuinely have nothing left to give him come the evenings, I’m going back to work part time next month and I’ll still be expected to do all the night feeds I have told him to pick one night at the weekend to take on Ive had enough he’s said he will but I doubt it will happen. I’m honestly at a loss I really don’t like being around him at all at the moment and I’m so worried it won’t go back to how it was before or at least a new happy normal we’re so at odds with each other right now.
Please tell me it’s normal and it does get better or at least tell me you can’t stand your OH right now too 😂

Been there twice. Having a baby takes a massive toll on relationships, especially when you resent them because they arent helping as much as they could (been there twice too). It does get better over time. But they specifically advise about not making any decisions about relationships within the first year or two of having children because it is such a stressful time. Hang on in there, change what you can, but it should get better. X

He wont understand until he does it you need to make him do that one night.. even go stay at a fanily members house for the night so he has to and sees what its truly like and he will struggle but he will then only be able to understand and all you need to say is I do that every night with nowhere to catch up on sleep or rest at all. If the baby is waking that much and you are doing it all alone I dont see how you can function going back to work too.

My husband does offer to help (as much as he can) however having a baby has still effected our marriage. It changes the whole dynamic and how we communicate with each other. We give so much to our baby so havent much left for each other at the end of the day. All our funny quirky banter is now just "grab a pack of nappies when youre out". Its hard but I think normal.
Are you comfortable with your partner taking your toddler out without you, a few hours from home?
My partner has been begging to take our LO to see his family 2 hours away from home without me for around a year now, but because they've never spent the whole day together without me I don't feel at ease about it. My son is abit shy until he warms up to people and my partner and his family are just very loud and energetic all the time. His family also don't really have boundaries with children and I don't feel my son will be comfortable there.
My partner also has never had to take initiative with our son's routine and our son sometimes doesn't eat very well in certain people's company. So overall I just don't feel comfortable about it.
Whenever we talk about this he makes it seem like I'm the bad guy for not trusting him to be comfortable/confident with putting our son's needs first, and doesn't seem to understand where I'm coming from. He says he understands, but then still begs for it to happen but for over the past year hasn't made the effort to be solo with our son. He's also had to work alot mon-sunday for the majority of our son's life so some things just don't come naturally to him (like understanding our son's communication), but then it's up to him to really make up for that.
They have a really loving bond and play together alot, but parenting isn't just about play of course🤣
What should I do? Allow him to take him to his parents or stand my ground until things change and I feel comfortable?

Is anyone else not bothered by a "nursery"?
I'm 34 weeks and I haven't been bothered about getting the nursery ready for bub.
I don't see the point personally.
I see all these videos of people "nesting" and getting the nursery ready etc but .... Why? The baby can't sleep in their own room until atleast 6 months old. Who would want to walk upstairs just to change and feed baby in a certain room...
Personally I won't be preparing the baby's room until like a week before he needs to go into it 😅
Am I the only one? Maybe it's because it's my 4th baby but i didn't do it for my others either.

We’ve been weaning for about a month now and she’s currently having two meals a day. I’m often out and about during lunch time so tend not to do it then. I have no idea how quickly I should be upping the meals (and snacks). What are other people’s experiences?

Just like the title says I'm just wondering if your husband's stayed at the hospital with you through birth and recovery. I'm going for my scheduled c-section and I've been talking to him about packing a bag which of course he waits last minute to do, but he also made a comment saying I just want him up my ass. I told him if that's the way he feels then don't stay because what kind of shit is that? Where else are you going to go while I'm having your baby, and going through major surgery and recovery? He actually tried to say it's my insecurities talking. Not at all. My main concern is him going to get a drink and downing it while we are in the hospital. I shouldn't have to be worried about anything, or anyone else. This shit is unbelievable to even be dealing with on a day like today.

My 3.5 year old makes it hard to go to nursery in the mornings.
Nursery say he enjoys being at nursery.
I actually have no energy left as I’m pregnant as well.
Today first time after a long time he cried to not come out of the car.
I feel this kid is worse in behaviour.
I know he has a cold and cough.
Even if I say positively nursery time, play with friends and do fun things etc. he says no nursery.
Even he wants me to carry him and I can’t as I’m shattered.
Any advice as I’m literally exhausted and can’t deal with this everyday.
