Ideas on how to announce Pregnancy

Hi everyone,

I wanted to do a cute little arrangement rather than just saying when I announce to family members, does anyone have any ideas on what to do? I’m thinking a box with some baby items ☺️

We left the ultrasound picture in a frame on the side and waited for someone to notice it... It was way too frustrating watching people walk past it again and again, we very much misjudged how observant our family are...

I've got a few different ideas for each person depending on what they like - I bought some tiny gazelles for my dad because he loves those shoes. Gonna put them in a box with a little scan.

I have a good idea get someone to video your family or who your telling your pregnant, make out your taking a picture but your actually videoing it then shout out your pregnant then you can capture everyone’s reaction and keep it as a keepsake x

We gave the grandparents a scratch card and baby grow saying coming soon, and all the close family a personalised cadburys chocolate with their relation to the baby on it eg aunty, nanny, big cousin, etc

We will give him milk at home and bring breakfast with us to give him there maybe but he might try their breakfast also? Do we need to bring anything else as I assume we will only be there for an hour obviously we will bring change of clothes, nappy wipes. Any advice will be much appreciated please🙏

Hospital bag!

I’m due on the 7th of November and still haven’t packed my hospital bag. When should I get this sorted? And what do I need? What are things I definitely need to pack that I will definitely forget to pack if it’s not on my list???

Waters broke

Had regular contractions last night for an hour but they weren’t painful. Just like period pains. My waters appeared to break and trickle from 10.30pm last night. Called home birth midwife who told me to get checked in the hospital as I had brown discharge which they wanted to rule out wasn’t meconium (confirmed it’s not). But they confirmed my waters have broke. Got to go into labour ward at 10.30 tonight to talk to doctor about antibiotics and now I can’t have my home birth of birth centre birth 😭 Contractions have pretty much stopped. I’ve had a bloody show but guys what is happening. I hope I go into labour before 10.30pm as I don’t want an induction. Any advice?
