Anyone make it past 42 without being induced with a good experience?

I hit 42 weeks on my induction date. I don't recommend it. I spent 3 days being induced before I had to have a C -Section, and the surgeon said it might have been avoidable if they had induced me around 41 weeks instead.

Have you tried spinning babies? Its possible baby just needs a little help into the right position. I had a week of labor... id get one or two good contractions and then nothing. On and off all the time. When it seem like it was time but still nothing wad happening I did the three sisters moves (you'll need help) it seemed like everything stalled completely and an hour later we where in full labor.

My midwife was French. She said in France edd given to women is 41w not 40. So “overdue” there is actually 43w. I reached 42w w my second, she was gonna book me in 2 days later for pitocin to get things going at 42w2days. I went into labour the day before I turned 42w and 8hrs later baby was born. At that point she was checking on me every 3-4 days. I did have a good experience yes. I’ve had 3 spontaneous vaginals 1 early 1 late (second baby) and one smack bang on his EDD.

No I got to 42 weeks and required induction. It wasn’t great tbh.

However my second was also an induction and that was fine. That one was the balloon induction. Light years better than the hormonal pessary induction x
