i am so homesick..

my husband and i are living in florida, my family all lives in ohio. i came to ohio with our daughter (he stayed in florida because he had to work) and ive really enjoyed it. i dont feel so lonely, in florida all i have is my husband, our daughter, and his mom. here the main person i have is my mom but she can help me and talk to me during times my husband is at work. i actually get to interact with more people go get out a lot more, it has been so nice. i miss my husband but i have been missing just spending time with my family / being around them. this was my first time my brothers, grandparents, and aunts have met my daughter. she is 3 1/2 months and we do plan to move back to ohio in the future, we are planning for before she starts kindergarten, but i just wish we lived here now. being back in ohio really makes me realize how much i miss it and how much i miss my family.

I understand you so well! My family is in Ukraine and partially in Spain - I miss them sooo much. It's only my husband and his extended family in NJ.. I went to visit my mom and siblings (currently Spain) in the end of July for two weeks - my boy was just over two months old - and it was so wonderful to have my family around!
You're lucky to have returning to Ohio in plans. I've always been homesick and I guess always will be.. Sorry, this makes me kind of sad.
Travelling and visiting is amazing though, enjoy while you're there ❤️❤️❤️

I am in the same boat. We live in alabama. My family is in wisconsin. I spent June and July up there and it was so nice. I really miss my family too.

Long term friends

My daughter is 8 and she just has such a hard time maintaining friendships. She isn’t into boys yet and she doesn’t like to be sassy or mean at all and unfortunately she hasn’t been able to find many friends her age that don’t just bully her ☹️ I’ve tried meet ups I’ve invited people from co ops I’ve taken her to church classes and other gatherings and I’m such at a loss. Any advice?

Anyone else self employed?

I’ve applied for maternity allowance and got my letter through today saying I would get the least amount. However I also got a letter asking me to pay towards the national class 2.
I have now done this but just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and if they then got the full amount after paying the cost they asked for. Thank you!

Sex help

My husband and I have pretty standard sex and I don’t know how to express that I want to do more/try different things. I’ve said things like he needs to make more effort, more foreplay but it’s basically the same thing each time. He even stops me from going down on him most of the time saying I’m his wife???
