Drama MIL

I was telling my MIL about how HFM is going around the school and my son (7) had some bumps but they didn't look like HFM, so I dont think he did have it but it was a weird coincidence. MIL then called my sister in law, I watch my 4 month old nephew, and asked what her plans were with my nephew because my kids have HFM. This makes me so mad. If I felt like it was a concern, I would've said something. Like wth. She does this crap all the time and never minds her own.

If It was a coincidence, probably still should’ve taken him in. It’s no joke and got my daughter really good just on the chin and hands and could be severely uncomfortable for a 4 month let alone It could travel to the throat. Super itchy and painful. But It is annoying for her to be tossing your business around.

I don't see the problem? There's no way id want anyone watching my child if there was even a small chance!
HFM is soooooo contagious!!!!!

Keeping a baby safe from HFM isn’t dramatic but you getting mad about it sure is. Thank God your SIL and nephew have her around to keep him safe, the fact that you’re mad about this is insane to me. Get over yourself.

Both parents go into an office and baby goes to nursery - how are you managing?

How does this situation work? ATM I am working from home and husband was made redundant, but I will need to return to the office after xmas. Baby goes to nursery 3 days a week, and husband is doing interviews/building portfolio etc. But even with us both being at home , it's so hard to manage a baby, getting sick/ having to pick him up from nursery. Or mornings are chaotic and I end up starting not when I want to. I just don't understand how you all manage to make it work if both parents need to go into an office? I know (and hope) that we will both be working soon, but am struggling to see how we will cope.

Worried about recovering

Im worried about recovering from a second c section, I know people say its easier but my partner doesn’t help me or seem to understand that there is a-lot I won’t be able to do … I’m worried I’m going to end up back I’m the hospital for tearing my incision, or i am worried about pp depression from the lack of support I already have from him, my family is here to help but stressed me even more because I don’t want to cause any drama between anyone because my family will say something… and his mom is so overprotective of him and doesn’t want anyone saying anything to “her baby” he is literally 33 years old …. Im so overwhelmed and worried about everything and about having to suffer through more pain then i will be in … he literally complains about needing help doing everything! And we have a toddler and I do everything for her now when he has to do anything for her he whines about it and asks for help

Solids

Any tips on how to get your baby to eat solids? I think she’s a texture baby like all she eat is purées, she will try other things but it’s like she has no interest in it or she spits it out. Any suggestions? She’s almost 2. Anybody else’s kid this way?
