Sleeping flat on back after c section?

I personally couldn't lay flat until about 4 weeks was too painful to get down.. then up. I was sleeping propped up with pillows also.

If its comfortable for u -go for it 🥰x

I’m sort of laying flat and am 1 week post C-section. Then again I’m sleeping on a couch (much more comfy for me right now)

i used to put pillows under my knees which helped!

I couldn't lay flat until around 3 weeks. Same as on my side it really hurt. I gradually got lower as the weeks went on

Jealous of everyone saying 3 weeks… I was still propped up at 6 weeks!! Could not bear the feeling when I was on my side. My stomach just felt so empty and like it was all hanging to one side I hated it!!

I started with 6 pillows I think (on an angle but I was basically sat upright), and gradually took a pillow away to get lower and lower. I still occasionally sleep with a pillow under my stomach cause I’ve got used to it now and find it comfy 🤣 and this is me 6 months pp 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️

Tbh I can lay flat but I have been used to being propped up that much I still am slightly at 6 weeks 🤣 but I can lay on my side now
