How’s potty training going for who’s started it with their little one?

We're having a relaxed approach to it, focusing on getting him used to the toilet, and knowing what a poo and wee wee is.

I bought a potty at 9ish months and we'd do "potty practice" after naps and occasionally throughout the day. I found that was too early for my little one because he would get frustrated on the potty. I stopped before he started developing bad associations with it!

Now we have a toilet seat with the toddler option. We pop him on in the morning as soon as he wakes up and we celebrate any wees that we catch. We put him on it a few times throughout the day, but it's a battle to keep him still, and he often just wants to play with the flush!

Started recently and it’s rough multiple floor accidents but just telling myself this is a process

My daughters out of nappies completely now, if your child can say “wee wee” or anything urine related then id say they’re ready. Mine was showing signs like this and also if she had no bottoms on taking her nappie off. I put her on the potty and rewarded her chocolate stars. One for a wee and two for a poo and she was out of nappies completely in two weeks then just stopped with the chocolate 🤣 all depends if your child’s a chocolate fan like mine 🤣 accidents will happen but every time they do wee or poo anywhere other than the toilet or potty put them on straight after and inform them that’s where they do it. Good luck xxx

Both parents go into an office and baby goes to nursery - how are you managing?

How does this situation work? ATM I am working from home and husband was made redundant, but I will need to return to the office after xmas. Baby goes to nursery 3 days a week, and husband is doing interviews/building portfolio etc. But even with us both being at home , it's so hard to manage a baby, getting sick/ having to pick him up from nursery. Or mornings are chaotic and I end up starting not when I want to. I just don't understand how you all manage to make it work if both parents need to go into an office? I know (and hope) that we will both be working soon, but am struggling to see how we will cope.

Would you feel resentful?

I’m currently 29, married & a first time mum (little one is 11 weeks old).

Even though I’m married, I feel like I’m a single parent as I’m doing absolutely everything. My husband has never got our baby to sleep, in 11 weeks he’s probably fed him once or twice (he’s formula fed). The only thing he seems to do is bath him for 5/10 minutes at night.

He works 5 days a week, but currently is always busy doing something he wants to do on a Saturday (golf, fishing etc). He’s gone pretty much all day from 8-9am until 5-6pm despite me being at home all day, everyday.

How do I even approach the subject or get a resolution to this without causing an argument? I am feeling super upset & emotional about this. I feel I could be slowly slipping into postpartum depression as I feel this should be the happiest time of my life but yet I feel so miserable.

Advice- no judgement

Long story but I’ve been with my partner for nearly 9 years since the age of 15 (24 now) we’ve got 2 beautiful babies aged 3 and 1 and just sold our home a couple of months back to purchase a new house that’s currently going through probate. We are currently moved back in with his parents whilst we was waiting for the sale to go through but I can’t help but be so unhappy in the relationship this past 2 months, we don’t argue as such but I find he is so miserable and hard to have a bit of fun with, I’m more outgoing and like to have fun whilst he is quiet, he doesn’t like it if I say I’m going out with friends even though I still have a friendship group and I just feel constantly miserable. I would never condone cheating but I can’t help but think that I’m missing out on being with someone who is more me and someone I can have fun with. But it’s so hard to know what to do as I do love him and I am so petrified of tearing our family apart but I just want to be happy too and I’m still young I don’t want to waste all my life being in a relationship in which I’m not 100% happy. The guilt is taking over my life 😭

husband rejecting sex

My man always be tryna fuck all day then the kids go to sleep and he doesnt. Like he went right to his game. Its always some excuse to play his game. I stayed up to have time with him. I feel like our relationship is falling apart. I barely see him. He stays up til 7am then sleeps til 2pm when he goes to work. At 10 he comes home and gets on the game. Im a SAHM so im dead tired but i still want to spend time with him and he just doesn’t want anything to do with me.

Husband cheating

A little backstory. 2 years ago I found out that my husband was watching half naked ladies live on TikTok. Not only that, he went as far as paying them to FaceTime with him for “private performances”. When I found out I was heartbroken 💔 I cried so much and when I confronted him he accused me of searching his phone. He said it wasn’t cheating because he never met those women and there was no penetration involved. He later apologised but deep down he still thought he didn’t do anything wrong. He then changed his password and said we shouldn’t look into each other’s phones Forgiving him was so hard but I never forgot. Not even once.
Fast forward to 2 night ago, he fell asleep while watching a totally different, non sexual live. I took his phone to turn it off and decided to check if he was still doing that thing.
I found out he still follows those women on TikTok. This time I was just sad and unsurprised I guess. When I asked him about it he said he doesn’t do that anymore and he swore he stopped.

My problem is, even if he doesn’t watch those lives anymore why is he still following those women? When I asked him why he hasn’t unfollowed them yet he said they are too many to unfollow and that he’s not had the time.
I find this excuse very stupid and honestly I’m heartbroken but I have accepted that I will not be insulted in this marriage. I have accepted that even if we get a divorce I’m fine with it, we’ll just raise our 2 year old as co-parents.

Am I overreacting? Should I be more understanding about this? I’d really appreciate some advice now.
