Mam bottles

Does anyone else have issues with the white rubber part of bottle not fitting properly after washing then leaking from the holes at bottom?

How are we dealing with creepy neighbours?

Only lived at my address for 5 months, I can’t go into detail of everything that’s happened with this 1 neighbour because it’s too much 🤣 but basically he’s weird and creepy as f*. He’s wanting too much information about my toddler, i am 4 weeks pp and haven’t answered the door once (since giving birth) to his parcels being left here or him ringing my bell. I feel like I’m being a bad neighbour but he’s just too much. I don’t want to stand at my door having the same repetitive conversation of him delving too much into my life, while I have a baby and a toddler now to watch.

Also my dog only barks at him…

He stares into my window every time he walks by (he lives right next door) honestly I wish I could spew every encounter I’ve had with him here but it’s too much 🤣😅 anyway - how do I stop feeling like a nasty neighbour? I don’t want him to hate me incase he is a psycho and tries anything but I also don’t want him to speak to me…

No poo for 6 days.

My hasn’t had a poo for almost 6 days now. He’s mostly breastfed and once in a while on formula. Have spoken to health visitor but was adviced to
Monitor. I’ve also done lots of exercises with my baby like bicycle ride and tummy massage but nothing. His tummy is soft and winds a lot but no poo yet. Should I still be worried ? Almost 7 weeks

How long did your breastfed baby take to get back to birth weight?

I have just had my 5 day appointment and my baby has dropped 9%. I've been booked for a reweigh on Monday and told if she's lost more we will be sent to hospital. I said that's fine but I will refuse any feeding plan as I was put on one last time ( triple feeding) and it made my daughter projectile vomit and my mh plummet. She then asked if I had through about pumping and I said no I won't be pumping 5 days PP and 1 day after my milk has come in. Honestly the whole appointment has left me so angry at the pressure they put on us to get back to birth weight in 10 days. My partner also said she was weighed wearing a hat and blanket ( I had a c section so couldjt se)

My partner thinks Im upset over nothing?

So we share shifts at night, he has baby shift until 2am, and i go to bed at 8.30am and take over at 2am and he gets up for work at 7am, so we both get an uninterrupted 5 hrs sleep, which was working well..until baby doesnt sleep AT all due to reflux. So the past 3 nights ive not even had 5mins sleep from 2am, then expected to carry on all day until I can go to bed again at 8.30p.. cannot nap in the day really as she doesnt stay in her bed longer than half hr.
I had a complete meltdown after 3 days of being up since 2am saying its not sustainable, I physically cannot start my days at 2am but he just turned it into "well we get the same sleep, I get 5hrs from 2am-7am, same as you do before that time and its more than most dads offer so we are lucky"
I do feel like being awake from 2am all day every day, isnt do-able , his staying up til 2am would feel much more manageable in my opinion, so he isnt seeing where I am coming from.
I am feeling so upset about his not seeing my point of view, and worried im starting my day at 2am isnt sustainable for my mental health if she isnt sleeping.
I am feeling so unheard by him😭
Any better tips on how to share the night? We dont stay in same room due to me being awake the entire time otherwise (and him) on each other's shifts.

Contact napping

For those who have largely contact napped - when did you realise baby no longer wanted a contact nap anymore and started to put them down?
