Shapes on tongue

Why does my 3 year olds tongue look like this? It’s always looked like it on and off and has never caused any issues so I haven’t brought it up to any health professionals but I’m just wondering what it is and whether I should be worried about it?

It looks like he might have a geographical tongue, and from what I’ve heard I don’t think they’re dangerous, but you can always do your research on it cause like some people have them where there’s like cracks in the tongue and some people have them where they are shapes

Agreed that’s definitely looks geographical tongue. Myself and many of my siblings have this type of tongue. The spots can become more prominent or appear depending on the type of food your babies eating. Often times from acidic food. Mine can flair from fruit, candy, and other things like vinegar chips.

Cartoon at Reception

My daughter started Reception this September, and it seems like they watch one or two cartoons every day. One is usually *Numberblocks*, but the other changes—sometimes it’s *Bluey*, sometimes *Zog*...I’m not too happy about this, but I don’t know if it’s common for schools to use cartoons for various reasons. I wouldn’t want to be the only mom complaining 😅

Mum guilt

Hey, I’m just posting because I’ve got horrendous mum guilt. I have a 3 year old and now a 3 month old. Prior to having my baby, I was out with 3 year old all the time, always busy. That’s obviously not been the case since having baby. We still do go out but I feel like it isn’t as often. Am I just being harsh on myself? I just find it so overwhelming at the minute but don’t want my toddler to feel like the bar has dropped!

Weaning

Hi everyone! My little boy is 8 and half months old, we have been trying to wean him since 6 months but he is still not that interested, he doesn’t like purées as he won’t open his mouth for a spoon, and if I give him the spoon he uses his other hand to scrap the food off. We are mainly doing BLW which he will happily put the food in his mouth, but if he gets any in his mouth, he will gag and spit it out. Anyone having anything similar? He is still having breastmilk as I know their nutrition all still comes from their milk until they are 1, I’m just worried he is taking a long time to grasp the concept of swallowing food

Partners mobile and odd behaviour.

My partner changed his mobile phone number yesterday, which he told me about in the morning. He still has not given me his new number. Today whilst at the shops he refused to come in but after 20min of us shopping instead of sending or calling me to find out where we were, he came looking for us. Is this odd behaviour or what??
