Is their little one still not sleeping fine after the 4 month regression? My lo is now 5 months, will be 6 at the start of Oct. Used to only wake up once, twice max a night and I thought I got really lucky. 4 month regression hit and he’s still waking up every half hour - hour at night. Cat naps in the day no matter what I do to try change things it’s not working.
I currently breastfeed, I’ve tried adding in formula to see if it helps. I’ve tried making his wake windows longer, pushing his first nap further. But as he only has 20 mins for a nap I feel like he needs to have more naps otherwise he’s so unhappy?
Feel abit at a lost now and I just need sleep again.

Following as in the same boat and exhausted 🥰😭 x

Are you able to do one contact nap, preferably earlier in the day? I find my little one goes down better for a cot nap if he’s had a longer nap earlier in the day, then sleeps better at night. I think (if you can ofcourse, longer naps woukd help rather than more) ♥️♥️

My boy was sleeping through from 8 weeks and then the regression hit and I saw every hour of every night, he doesn’t take a bottle in the night so always just for dummy or a cuddle
I’m pleased to say after what felt the longest 6 weeks of my life he has finally started waking online once I’m the night again!
I didn’t change a thing with naps etc, he just stopped of his own accord x

We're the same here! My little boy is up constantly but doesnt even want milk, its like hes wide awake and wants a party🤣 i am absolutely shattered, sometimes i contact nap then put him im the cot. ( i co slept with my first and shes 3 and still in my bed) even if you can put him in your bed safely for his naps, it means hes getting the scent of you which settle him.
Honestly this sounds daft and as much as you are sleep deprived, this will not last forever and you'll miss these night time parties. This is just one of those developmental phases.
You're doing great mama.❤️

In the thick of this now, it's really exhausting. She's waking up constantly, I try and put her down once she's properly asleep then wakes up again soon after whinning.

Same here. Absolutely shattered! I’m not trying to do anything differently because I doubt it’ll help so I’m just riding the wave… but half asleep 😆 we had 6 wake ups last night with multiple attempts per time 🤦♀️

Are you able to do one contact nap or a nap in the carrier during the day? My little girl is the same and just won’t nap more than 30 mins now unless she’s on me.
Also her sleep at night has been terrible. She used to wake once a night and now it’s 6-8 times. However last night I moved her next to me accross the room as I suspected she was being woken by us moving and she did a 4 hour stretch for the first time in weeks! So hopefully this works in making it a bit better 🤞🏽🤞🏽

I could have written this myself. We are in the trenches! LO only does hour stretches and each wake it take 45mins to an hour to get her back down again. Naos are 20/30 mins and she only has 3 per day. I'm exhausted and I've tried everything.
Do you and when did you start turning on ms.rachel for your little ones? My baby is 10 months and I don't turn on any screens for her but I have heard that people start early to help with speech development. Obviously in moderation. Any thoughts

Hi all, does anyone have recommendations for a good nappy for nights? 3 month old is sleeping in good stretches but nappies can’t keep up. Tried Aldi and pampers and now on Sainsbury’s and they are great in day but not at night?! Thanks so much

My 4 week old seems to just not want to settle/sleep unless she is on me or my husband or being nursed by me. Every time I try to transfer tonight she just starts crying and getting inconsolable. Have made sure she’s fed, burped, helped with gas, changed etc but nothing seems to be working tonight when usually she is ok. I am absolutely exhausted and my husband is working tomorrow so having to manage solo is pretty tough. Anyone else or any suggestions?

Hello! What do you do to stop the baby from rolling off the edge of the bed? Out bed is quite high and LO had now learnt to roll!

My 6 day old hasn’t done a poo for almost 72 hours now. He’s been passing wind and peeing normally. The last time I spoke to the midwife, it had been 48 hours since his last poo, and she said she wasn’t too worried and advised me to continue feeding him.
I’m calling again tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar. We switched from formula to 100% breastfeeding about 3 days ago, and I have no idea whether he’s getting enough milk. I can see and hear him swallowing, but it’s still so confusing trying to know how much he’s actually getting.
Any thoughts or similar experiences?
