Passports for children

I got my 5 year olds passport without his “dads” consent and I’m in the same boat as you, I never asked permission I just applied for the passport x

Yeah he’s on the birth certificate for him but I never went through him at all I just applied for it and gave them mine and my parents birth certificates xx

I got my children’s passports and we have a court order for contact and I didn’t ask his permission at all. I just went and done it and they didn’t ask twice or even ask if I had permission issuing from him. I just gave the dads name and sent of the kids birth certificates and the forms and I received the passports a couple months later.

I would say make sure you apply for them incase he tries to be sneaky and cancel them. I had this literally in the last 2 months. He wanted to change their last names on the passports after o my having them a year, he filled in the form and application and sent off our contact court order saying he has pr and said if I don’t send them the passport office will cancel them regardless of if I send them or not so I freaked and panicked and they said they won’t ever cancel them even if the other parent tries to because they were applied in my name and I’m the only one who can change their name on them or cancel them. They said they would never cancel a

I got my children’s passports and didn’t need their fathers permission. As long as you are named as mother on the birth certificate you’re fine 💖

I got my daughters passport with out her bio dad. He’s on birth certificate but when it came to his details I said there’s no contact with him. She’s on her 2nd passport now
