Nursery fees
Mums who have returned to work can I ask what you are paying for nursery fees.
I’m back to work part time.
Mon-Fri 4pm-9pm
He attends nursery 5 days a week, half day, but really I only need childcare from 3pm-6pm as my husband does pick up.
I’m currently paying close to £600 a month and only entitled to 15 hours of funding due to him attending half days.
I’m only paid £1200 a month and with the crazy nursery fees I was financially better off on stat maternity pay which is crazy!
anyone have a child minder who’s hours are more flexible? I don’t know really what I’m asking but I just know returning to work has stung financially.

My son does 5 morning lessons and we’re sitting at about 1090 a month, nursery fees are absolutely crazy!!
For us, we're entitled to 30 hours, we're spreading them over 51 weeks so works out at 20-something free a week. He's at nursery 8am-4pm 3 days a week with food included and its around £100 a month. If we were to increase to 4 days a week its something crazy like £500. We're lucky that I'm using annual leave to work 3 days a week until Jan, Then my mum is going to have him 2 days a week (altho I WFH, so will be super flexible with this)

Being a woman does not mean you are fully capable of understanding all women nor does it grant you the right to invalidate another woman for choices you wont make.
Many times glares ive gotten are from older or younger women.
Generalization is a form of assumption which is in the ignorant family and when i read about it like calling out 'all men' gotta put into perspective that you aint talking bout my man.
Most unsolicited and absolute opinions ive heard are from women who feel like they know just because and its not true.
Im not a girls girl and i do not stand with turfs nor do i allow any women to speak over my life or my family without boundaries.
This app has lots of women who scratch the itch to vomit unsolicited, absolute & biased opinions just because they're a woman...feels good to get this off my brain much like how my block list could grow 🤣
Anyone else out there feel any of this?

What age is best to get the tonies box?
I’m thinking of getting one for my little girl but can’t decided if I should get it this Christmas/birthday or wait until next.
She will be 10 months at Christmas, will she get any use out of it this year?

Contraception
We usually use condom. But I'm so so scared that I'll be pregnant again by the littlest chance possible. I can't afford another baby I don't even have energy or mental capacity for it. My body can't handle it. I can't even make a mistake, I can't have any surprises. Im too scared to use the coil and I don't want to have pills. Has anyone got pregnant still using condoms?

Separated
Me and my babys dad decided to go on a break. But im not sure i want to get back with him. He is the reason why we even needed this break. He couldnt grow up and part of me hopes he changes during this break. And part of just wants to move on and focus on me and my baby

Remote work
Does anyone know of any remote jobs going at the moment? I would love to work from home while caring for my son, but I’m also happy to use a nursery or childminder if needed 😊
