How did you know you were ready for baby number two?
and not the typical saying of ‘you’ll know when you’re ready’. like what other things lead you to wanting another baby after your first?
I have a 15 month old son and I adore him with my whole heart, and truthfully I don’t feel like my family is complete yet but as we all know, having children is the hardest thing physically and mentally in this world, and whilst I don’t struggle, it’s the wonder of how would I divide my time and attention between two, without stretching myself completely thin. I just have all these questions and no one to talk to about it.
I want to hear from everyone that has had two, or even thinking about having another if you’re in the same boat.
thank you :)

I’m still on my first, but my husband and I know we aren’t done either. I grew up with siblings and my husband was an only child, we both think having multiple children is a blessing. I’m also wondering when I’ll be ready as well, but I’ve gotten great advice from family and friends.
Personally, I would like my son to be done breast feeding (I’ve been told some babies will stop if mom gets pregnant) and have him potty trained so I’m not changing double the diapers. In terms of stretching myself thin, I’ve been told that when you have another child, the first usually enjoys helping with the younger child. It makes them feel grown. For example, my son doesn’t like when I put him in a chair to go to the kitchen or bathroom. With another sibling, they can play or entertain each other.
I’m sure you’ll know when you’re ready and even though there will be super busy days, when you look back on your life you’ll treasure it. Good luck!

So i dont know if my circumstance will help but it may help from a diffrent pov
My two are 18 months apart
I never intended to fall pregnant again so fast and wasnt even sure i wanted a 2nd yet
Anyway i ended up falling pregnant again and i didnt have the heart to go through an abortion ( i have nothing againt them its just not for me) so i decided to keep the baby, my pregnancy this time around was awful compared to my first which was smooth sailing
I was so exhausted by the 3rd trimester i didnt have the energy to play with my son and when it came to making room in addition to another baby i had to remove some of his toys ( he no longer played with them or needed them) and it was that moment that broke me as i felt like i was replacing him .. that he would have to sacrifice things because of my choice ( its not the case at all i know but mentally it put me in an awful place)
I ended up in hospital for a week waiting for my waters being broken because my daughters heartrate was high

omg girl so when I saw my daughter talking to herself and playing both characters of her toys that's when I knew 🥺
Been wanting to have another baby I’ve trying for a year and my periods have changed is it too late? Does anyone have any tips or suggestions

Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing and how does it go?
Bit of back story

My soon to be husband has lived with us three years, always been around for my son from the age of 3 months, he’s the only thing my boy knows as a dad, and we now want it official for all of us

I’m having such a hard time believing my test is positive. I had a period on the 11th that was heavy for the full length and negative pregnancy test. My only symptoms are constant nausea and sore boobs fatigue. I’ve tested a few times next to the max line and it’s positive is that a real positive… I feel like I’m going insane…
