Adoption process

Me and my soon to be husband want to go forward with him adopting my son as he want his to be his on paper which is such a blessing and beautiful thing

Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing and how does it go?

Bit of back story
My sons father is on his birth certificate but has NEVER made any effort, he’s not seen him in 5 years no contact no nothing he now has 2 kids of his own

My soon to be husband has lived with us three years, always been around for my son from the age of 3 months, he’s the only thing my boy knows as a dad, and we now want it official for all of us

Is 37 too late to have a baby

Been wanting to have another baby I’ve trying for a year and my periods have changed is it too late? Does anyone have any tips or suggestions

Passports for children

Is there geniunely no way i can get passports without the other parents permission without me attending court?

For background he walked away after the youngest was born both children are now 8 and 5. There has been no contact since his choice.

FIL wants a copy of baby’s birth certificate

I’m due to register my baby officially soon and my boyfriend’s dad has asked for his own original copy of the birth certificate…? I found this so weird because what is he able to do with this document. I don’t want to give it to him
I’m very confused as to why he would even request this or am I overthinking things

What should I do? Would you give it to him …

(Me and my partner live together and are doing well there no animosity between us )

Positive

I’m having such a hard time believing my test is positive. I had a period on the 11th that was heavy for the full length and negative pregnancy test. My only symptoms are constant nausea and sore boobs fatigue. I’ve tested a few times next to the max line and it’s positive is that a real positive… I feel like I’m going insane…
