So my toddler has been a bad sleeper since he was a baby, but even when he doesn't nap he sleeps at 7pm and wakes up at 3am and is awake till 6-7am. Or if he naps then he sleeps at 10-11pm and then wakes up at 3am.
I have a baby as well and then she's up for hours and wants feeding for hours until he's asleep and she can sleep. In the day time she also doesn't get to sleep cuz he keeps waking her up. I feel so defeated, my health is so bad. I am exhausted and I don't know what to do.
Anyone in the same boat or can share tips? It wasn't always like this but last couple of months especially.

So we have just been through this with our little boy. He would wake up at about 1am for 3 hours! We would just keep walking him back to bed over and over. He has a gate on his room and he would be stood at it screaming.. Eventually we got to a point where he would go back to bed and stay there but then it switched to him waking every 2 hours or so and standing at his gate screaming until we walked him back.
Bedtime has been an issue too. We do the whole routine and he just gets out of bed and bangs at his gate. This bit we are still working on. Sometimes he will get back into bed and go to sleep on the first try but other times it can be 10 times!!
I think it is a phase which is partly developmental but also amplified by life events. We just had another baby a few weeks before it started, he started nursery, got a new bed and potty trained.
It has been so horrible and soul destroying so I really feel you. Just keep being persistent and you'll get through it. I hope it passes for you soon.

I will have exclusively fed my 3 month old breastmilk in 2 weeks time and I think for my mental health I want to combo feed. Does anyone have any tips on this? I currently pump 7 times within 24 hours and would like to reduce that so I can live without having to pump every 3 hours. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Xxx

Do you think it’s ok to lock 3.5 year olds bedroom door? She keeps coming out and waking up the whole family so struggling to function. Or is it cruel to do that?

Is it okay to co sleep in this position with my 5 and a half month old? She mostly sleeps in her cot but sometimes she just wants me. Her face is completely uncovered and chin isn’t on chest etc. I know it’s not ideal but she seems to sleep so much better like this than on her back. My arm is cradling her. I don’t breastfeed and she doesn’t feed during the night. Need reassurance that it’s okay or an explanation why it isn’t😥

I exclusively breastfeed and my little one is 7 weeks old, never had any issues before now but this past week he's choked on my milk at almost every feed and is gulping it like he's never been fed.
He generally feeds well, I alternate breasts each feed so like he'll feed on the left then next feed on the right side, but they seem too full for him and he coughs and chokes like he can't handle my milk flow. If i hand express beforehand so it isn't as full for him he is dissatisfied with the feed and wants the other side which is then too much for him and he's sick🫠ðŸ«
Has anyone had anything like this? What did you do about it?, I feel awful watching him cough and he's spilling milk all down me which is not ideal when out of the house.
