Mucas plug

I had a sweep yesterday at 1 and had mild period like cramps afterwards and occasional lower back pain. Today I’ve lost my mucas plug. How long after the ‘bloody show’ did you start having contractions?? I’m 39+3 weeks and fed up now 😭 She’s measuring big and during my last scan she was very very low (midwife felt her head yesterday with her finger during the sweep) so I’m very uncomfortable at the moment and it hurts to do anything!!

With my second I lost mucus plug and had the bloody show but baby didnt come for another 2 weeks. Unfortunately, it doesn't always mean it's time. Its so frustrating! Hopefully they come for you soon!!

Had a bloody show about 4 times between 37-38 weeks and ended up being induced at 41 weeks then he refused to come until 41+3 and that ended in a c section

I was loosing mine for several days. I think once it started it was about 3 days later and then my waters went x

I had my sweep at about 10am, started having contractions about 4pm them baby was born the following day! I had lots of cramping and bleeding before the contractions, but I was already 2-3cm dilated when I had the sweep!

Rant incoming

Sorry but I just need to get this off my chest and to see if anyone else feels the same.

I’m currently 16 weeks pregnant and apart from the booking midwife appointment and scan I’ve had no support from the NHS what so ever. I was referred to a service but haven’t heard a thing and now this morning I nearly passed out on the train. Tried to call midwife but I cannot find a number and when I did they said if your under 17 weeks then call your gp. I just feel totally alone in this and have no one to ask any of the important questions like is nearly passing out normal!?

35 weeks no birth plan

I’m 35 weeks high bp and gestational diabetes still with no birth plan is this normal? I feel they are being pretty blasé with me I haven’t got any more midwife appointments face to face only on the phone

Baby can be here at anytime now and still no names 🥴

Everyone says boys are the hardest when it comes to name and they weren’t not joking!
I even asked my nearly 4 years old what we should name her baby brother and her suggestions was ‘Cutie’… cute for a baby name but I am not sure that would be a appropriate for a grown man one day! 😂

C section recovery

I am 10 days post surgery and now starting to consider future recovery, compression leggings and bands etc. Any recommendations from anyone? Not sure really where to start!

13 days post c section

I had my second elective c section 13 days ago… my blood loss has been so minimal I only bled for the first 7 days and it was only quite light…it stopped for a few days then today and yesterday I’ve started to bleed again and it’s a bit of a heavier flow. Has anyone else experienced similar?

20 week scan

Had my 20 week scan the other day, any guesses on the gender? 👀 previously has 3 boys and this is my final baby no matter the gender💜
