Refusing to stay in cot during the night!

My 8 month old refuses to stay in her cot she will wake up as soon as I put her in the cot so she will be in the middle of me and my partner in bed

I would be considering sleep training so that she is able to get herself back to sleep. It sounds like she has a held/rocked to sleep association. Sleep training doesn't have to include crying it out. I highly recommend the book Precious Little Sleep.

Floor bed maybe? One where u can sleep with her

My 8 month old does.. she used to sleep all the way through now she wakes so much.. she lays back down goes back to sleep to then shes fully awake banging in her cot so I have to put her in bed with me for her to go back sleep 😴

We are on week 4 of this, he slept great in his cot before. The past two nights he has got better where he has went down for 2 and 3 hours where previously he wouldn't go down at all, just wanted to be in my arms. It's exhausting!

My 8 months old refuses his cot completely at the moment. He used to contact sleep only up until 4 months when it suddenly changed after the sleep regression and he started sleeping very well and in his cot. Sleep got worse again since August (waking up every couple of hours) but the past week, as soon as it's laid on a surface, he wakes up and cries. The only way I'm coping is because I breastfeed, I feed him to sleep in our bed and my husband has had to move to the spare bedroom.
At the moment he wakes constantly through the night even in bed, sometimes cries in his sleep and even feeding to sleep is not doing is usual magic 😢
I think it's a combination of different factors, separation anxiety first of all for us, development and teething as well!
I know it's exhausting especially if like me you're the only one doing the 'nights'.
I keep thinking we just need to get through it 😅 so stay strong mama! 💪
