Baby toys ?!
Hi ladies, what are your babies actually playing with? My son is 7 months old nearly 8months and he isn’t interested in toys. He will play for about five minutes and then get bored! What toys are your babies playing with and enjoying?

commenting to follow cause I'm in the same boat with my girl same age 😭
My boy is the same he would rather play with things that arnt toys 😅. And he would rather drag himself around the room as hes not quite got the hang of crawling but hes on the move every day now
Mine are mainly teething toys or toys that make noises hahah so commenting to follow advice! Xx
Current favourites in the toy box:
A lid from a biscuit tin
Plastic coat hanger
Bamboo toothbrush
Large paintbrush
Soft washbag with a zip
Wooden blocks (I build them up, he knocks them down)
Scrunched up baking paper
My LG loved any small instruments (like rain sticks), drums etc or kitchen utensils 😅 shes 3 and still has a spatula and tea towel in her toy box
5 minutes of play for a 7 month old Is developmentally normal

Ideas with how to keep my baby on her back for nappy changes
Hey all!
My girl is nearly 7 months and for little while she has been a nightmare to change her nappies and clothes 🫣😂
All she wants to do is roll onto her front and try crawl off the mat!
I used to be able to distract her by singing and dancing - but now I can’t find anything to distract her and I’m chasing her around her changing mat 😂 and trying to change her backwards lol
I know it’s normal for most babies to go through these stages, just wondered if anyone has found anything that has helped.?

Baby doesn’t like being put down
My 8 wk baby always wants to be held. Since he was born he doesn’t like going down in his crib at all, and even though we’ve tried everything ( I mean everything! The clothes wth my scent on them, holding him for 20 mins into a deep sleep then putting him down, swaddles) he wakes up and cries as soon as he’s down. This is the same everywhere, I can put him in his rocker or play mat for around 20 mins when all the stars align and he’s in a good mood. I’m scared I’m building a stick for my own back and that he will always be clingy. Anyone gone through something similar?

Girls, my little girl is 14 months old now and is struggling in her cot as we co slept from December right threw till about 2 weeks ago, I’ve found that when I put my pillow I don’t use in which by the way is quite thin and a lot firmer than the rest she seems to sleep a lot better but I’m terrified of her sleeping with one I’ve bought her a toddler one and again she wakes up constantly should I leave her without one and get up or is she ok with my pillow? I’m worried she’s still to young

Sleep regression
Girls helppp I’m scared for the sleep regression. FTM my daughter is 3 months old.
Shes overall a good sleeper now. We’ve had a few bad nights which is giving me a tester for the 4 month sleep regression and the anxiety it’s giving me I’m scared 😭😭😭
I do all the night wake ups through the night due to my partner working long days so it will all fall on me!

Bed time
FTM & my little boy is 25 weeks. For bed time he will not go past 7 o’clock. He wants his bottle around 6:20 or 6:30 and I have to put him straight to bed or else he will get over tired. I’m not complaining but is this normal? He will sleep through with the odd occasion of waking up but he’s not crying etc then he will go over again and wake properly at 6:30 am. Am I doing ok with this routine ? I’m assuming when he gets older his bed time with stretch?
