Loads of night wakes

Hi everyone!

Is anyone else still struggling with loads of night wakes? My baby is EBF and right now we co sleep. She used to sleep in her next to me and we got the odd 4 or 5 hours after the 4mo regression but now it's back to hourly or 2 hourly wakes all night.

We did try gentle sleep training but she cried too much and I couldn't carry on. I feel like I'm at my limit of how much exhaustion I can take.

Is anyone else in the same position or was and managed to solve it???

No advice but we’re the same, my son is sleeping max 1hr 20 mins at a time - I’m putting it down to teething and hoping it changes soon !

Yeah he was waking 1-2 hourly and now we’re in the regression and have just cut two bottom teeth so we’ve woke every 20mins-1 hour for 6 days now it’s brutal.

My first didn’t sleep longer than 1-2 hours until he was over 2 so I feel like I’m just used to it 😅

I co-sleep and feed side lying and that way I get more rest and don’t have to leave bed in the night.

It’s tough but it’s not forever x

Same🙋🏻‍♀️🥲 co sleeping since 3 months old because he wouldn’t go down in his crib! EBF too and has always been up every 2 hours, sometimes every hour. Never had a long stretch and not sure I’ll ever see the day 😅

Same boat!! EBF and co slept since birth. Hourly wake ups if not every half hour. Brutal right now and its gone on for 2-3 months!!!

Just had a full week of it. But lil man did sleep from 7:30 till 1:30 and back down till 6 last night so hopefully we are going back to normal now

Comfy bras?

Is anyone else still wearing nursing bras even after they’ve stopped nursing because it’s just comfortable?? Because hi 🙋‍♀️. I would like nothing more than to retire them as war heroes but what are we all wearing as alternatives? Does anyone have recommendation for comfy supportive cute bras? ‘Cause the girls do be needing more support after 9 months of nursing. I was looking at the Knix no underwire ones.

I’m so excited and trying to get organised but not sure if I’m rushing. All advice welcome❤️

1. I’m having an elective c section what after care bits were actually helpful? Are the silicone patches worth it when did you start using and what brand is best? Was a peri bottle still necessary for cleaning the downstairs area or not?

2. Maternity bras. What ones would you recommend and also when did you get them I was thinking of getting them pretty soon but also not sure if they’ll fit by the time I need them or did you just size up or waited till closer to the time?

3. When did you start washing baby clothes and packing hospital bag? I pretty much have everything we need already so I could pack now I just don’t know if I should wait. Same with washing babies clothes etc I plan on washing all newborn and 0-3 months initially then bigger sizes closer to when she’ll actually need them but I still have 8 weeks how early did you start washing clothes and organising drawers etc?

My daughter was a late walker at nearly 20 months but this one is determined to climb, cruise, move at not even 9 months. Any tips on helping him move around safely when I’ve got him and his sister (3) to watch?

Bassinet to pram seat?

When did you make the change? Nearly 4 months old and naps in her pram, she woke up today and decided to roll over in the bassinet 😂 Is it time to put the chair on? :(( she’s probably more than ready, I however, am not 😭

Pram inserts for newborns

My mum has recently found a free pram that’s she’s brought home for us, it’s a bugaboo chameleon 3, with an L shaped bucket seat, but it also reclines back fully (will include pictures). There’s some parts missing, we’ll need to get more straps for it. As the seat fully reclines, I’m guessing there’s some sort of seat you can put it in for babies that need to lie at an 180 angle. I really need help finding a seat, I have no idea what to look for or any of the pram terminology. I’m hoping to get something to put in it for a newborn before thinking about buying a whole other pram well only use for 5 months. Any advice appreciated

Crib/bassinet transfers

Everytime my first attempt at crib transfer fails, the second attempt always fails too. I then finish it as a contact nap. Only if I get it right in first attempt does the baby continue with the nap in the crib. After how many minutes do you re-attempt if it fails once? Any tips / suggestions on what I could do differently?
