Feed before sleep

My boy (5 months) tends to go to sleep around 20:30 ish, i don’t feed him before bed at the same time everyday because it depends how his feeds go in the day. Today he fed at 18:30 and went to sleep at 20:10. I feel guilty for him not having another feed before bed. What do others do in this situation, do you dream feed or just expect to wake during the night to feed them? He’s been going through the night the past few nights but I’m assuming he won’t tonight because he’ll be hungry.. any tips pleasee

I’d offer another feed before bed

If he goes through the night usually. That means he goes a good 6-8 hours without a feed - perhaps he'll wake earlier tomorrow? I wouldn't feel guilty. If he was starving you would know

I offer another feed before sleep, if she drinks it perfect, if not then I’m not too bothered

If they are sleeping through I wouldn't worry as they will def let you know if hungry haha but if you don't want them to wake up, I do a dream feed when I go to bed around 10pm and my little one has slept through from about 9 weeks.

What is the total volume during the day? I'd look at that more than timings of the feed, if they are having an average volume during the course of the day and sleeping through then that's brilliant :)

Rant about dad in playground incoming!!!!!

So me and my mum were just in the playground with my 21 month old. We made our way to a little playhouse and there was another little boy who seemed the same age, maybe a little older with his dad and older brother nearby.

I looked at the dad and he seemed so laid back he might aswell of been laid in the bushes. One earphone in, kind of looked distant.

I encourage my son into this playhouse, holding his hand. The little boy comes over and basically barges his way in and stands in the way so my son couldn’t come in. I’m obviously still encouraging him to go in and trying to chat to this little boy about how nice the playhouse is.

He swipes some leaves and sticks off a little table inside which makes my son jump so he steps back and this little boy leaves. He then follows us to the slide and he’s using his body to basically block my son. Kicking his leg so he can’t get on. The slide was massive and attached to a massive climbing frame. There was plenty of space for several kids.

It got to the point where we had to explain to this little boy that his behaviour isn’t very nice and to stop. The dad was on his phone still with an earphone in.

Now I try my hardest, even more so now I’m a mum to not judge and fully understand kids are kids and sharing, social skills ect are being learnt but I feel like those kids were in charge of their dad, not the other way around. At what point do you stop being so understanding and throat punch the dad 🤷🏽‍♀️

Obsessed with making boys rude

From the moment I gave birth to a boy I’ve been hearing comments about how he’s going to be rude and mess with all the girls and he won’t have any behavior. I don’t understand why they insist and on saying these things just because he’s a boy is this normal comment for a baby boy?

Is it normal to feel this way?

Baby is currently 4 weeks old…I love her to bits but I DREAD her wake windows, as horrible as that sounds😖
She’s rarely content or happy when she’s awake. If she’s awake she’s crying or screaming. I actually get scared for when she might wake up because she gets herself in such a state.
Has anyone else felt this way? Or am I just an awful mum lol.

Im hoping this gets better once baby is a bit older & can interact more with things/play/laugh etc

Right- when is this 4 month regression ending then?!

I just fell asleep sat up 😂 I’m looking for a message of hope from someone, when you think you’re through this bloody tough sleep bit!! Anyone who’s had it bad feel like they might be getting there?

I’ve actually lost count of when it started for us, our LO only turned 4 months today but it started early, (as it did with my eldest!) so I reckon it’s been a couple of weeks.

We can do it!!! 💪🏼

Baby not sleeping through the night 😫

So my baby is 12 months in about 2 weeks. I put her down at 8 or 9 pm but she wakes up every 45 mins or so stands in her cot and cries then I go in rock her to sleep again takes 10-15 mins. She does 3-4 times by 1 am. I tend to do my chores and want some me time but i have to keep going back to her to put her back to sleep. By 1 am i get to bed scroll a little and sleep and she is up again at 4 am i feed her. Then she will stay up for 2 hours and then go back to sleep again for 2-3 hours and even then she will be up 2-3 times and me having to rock her back to sleep. I don’t know why she keeps waking up? I feel like i get no time to myself. I don’t mind her waking up but not this many times.
