Why do I even bother trying to make friends anymore? I just get ghosted or they lose interest

Working moms daily routine

I'm currently on maternity leave but even now I feel like I don't have time to keep on top of the house chores/social life/ self care/cooking!

My job will be mon-fri 9 till 5 and my partners job is the same. I don't get how by the time we pick up little one from nursery, cook and eat tea, have a bath/book bed - you're then supposed to cram everything else in as well as giving yourself some chill time?

What do people's day to day evenings and weekends look like? Any hacks or tips (other than getting a cleaner which isn't financially possible with the nursery fees).

I'd love to hear how the weekend is split too to make sure you and spouses have your own time and together time :)

30 hours for working parents

I am getting myself confused regarding the 30 hour for 9 months old
Will like if someone can help confirm if I’m right
My daughter was born 22 of Feb, she’ll be 9 months in November, the term after Nov is January, I resume work in January officially as well, but I will be taking annual leave into February
Can I get the funding from Jan?

Thoughts?

My husband is in the army, he’s separating due to his injuries. He’s currently in a holding unit but will be coming home soon in a few weeks. I just got this message from him and I am not really sure how to respond to it or how to feel about it. What do you think 🤔

Motherhood

Anyone else find motherhood extremely tough? I love my baby. I feel like everyone says how much they love it but dont talk about all the challenges and times of loneliness that come with it.
