Feeling really overwhelmed juggling my job and parenting, all the life admin etc. We don't have a support system nearby so it's just my husband and I and we are struggling.
I went back to work FT (but work 4 longer days) and my working days are intense.
Would love to hear from other mamas who are working - what hours do you do per week, and do you find it manageable?
Thinking I might need to put in a new flexible working request. I wanted the hours for the money, but now I'm not sure it's worth the stress I'm feeling daily.

I do two days per week 9-5. Then sometimes I will do an extra shift if they are short staffed but they know that anything extra has to be around school hours so 9.15-2.45. It’s perfect for me.

I work FT, 5days but I am considering working 4 long days too. However I am hesitating if I can handle it. So following to see suggestions or ideas 💡

I work 3 days. Its perfect balance for me knowing my LG is home more than with other people and I have time with her.
Mondays I do the upstairs of the house, Fridays I do the downstairs so its ready for the weekend and we dont have to do chores then. I love it but that may change when I have my 2nd! 😅

I work 2.5 days. I could push to three but I don't think I could mentally and physically manage full time at the moment.

24 over 4 days. Fits in with school drop off
Feeling lonely?
Hi! I’m a 23 year old ftm to a baby boy. I’m about 7 months postpartum and throughout my whole pregnancy till now, I’ve struggled with feeling alone lol. I have some friends and my man but it’s been hard to find other people to relate to during this time. Especially since a lot of the moms I’ve encountered are so different (not that that’s bad), either in age or walks of life.
I’m not the most extroverted person ever, but I crave connection.
I’m not sure how to combat this and get myself out of this rut. If anyone has any feedback, comments, and solutions please let me know! I’m open to hearing all responses :))
Thanks!

I’m tired of asking nicely… which one of you bitches wanna be friends? 😂💕
I’m a wife, mom of two boys, and teacher who loves shopping, family time, and a good laugh. I’m looking for a real friend to talk to, make plans with, and maybe take a girls’ trip along the way. If you’re looking for your person too, message me! 🫶🏽

Hi everyone 👋
My name’s Joan ✨ I’m 32 and a proud mum of 3 💙💚💛
I’m looking for real mummy friends — the kind who are true, genuine, and actually stick around 🫶 Friends who get it, chat about everything and nothing, laugh together, and are there through the good days and the hard ones too.
No games, no fake stuff — just real connections and proper friendships that last 🤝💛
If you’re looking for the same, drop a comment or send me a message! I’d love to meet you 💬✨

My manager has just removed me from the work group chat and her only text was to tell me that she’s doing that until I return. The group chat is nothing but a bit of banter so no serious work talk. It’s made me feel a bit low. And felt like it wasn’t something that was really necessary.

I'm a little under the weather and also a stay at home mom for the time being so I'm up for all the talks today. It's been so hard to find new friends (or even keep up with current friends) and I so miss the socializing at work. I've met a lot of really cool moms on here but not many have stuck! 😩👻 Would love to find a bestie girl to test with consistently, vent with maybe meet up with at some point. I love baking, reading, binge watching TV shows, working out, crafting. All the tingzzzz. Feel free to message :)
