I’m 20 weeks with my second baby and have a two year old which is obviously having a massive impact on tiredness but does anyone else feel they’ve got a lot more tired and fed up quicker with their second pregnancy than they did with their first 🫠
Tuesdays are my non working day and I usually take my daughter to visit my aunt who lives like a 25 minute walk from our house so I’ve always just walked there and back with the buggy on Tuesdays to get steps in. The last 3 weeks I’ve found myself really really struggling to push my toddler in the buggy and it’s left me feeling seriously unfit. I know I should slow down a bit but honestly just getting annoyed at not being able to do things I normally do without breaking a sweat 😂 and just feel like weight gain and tiredness has come on thick and fast this time round

Yes! 21 weeks with a 3 year old, working 4 days a week, finishing off a degree and moving house and I feel like I have o e braincell to share between it all 🫠 hopefully two of those things will resolve in the next few weeks/months, then I'm on the countdown to annual leave before maternity 😀 but this second pregnancy is definitely a game changer!

This is my second pregnancy and I have a 2 almost 3 year old and work full time plus hubby is a dr so I have a lot of solo weekends and evenings and it’s KICKING MY BUTT. I’m so tired lol it’s been so hard to find the motivation to move

I feel you. I also have a 2 year old. Some days, I can take him for a 2 hour walk around a nature reserve. 6 days out of the week, I'm surviving off of a coffee (which I never have) and just sheer will power 😂 and we're in the middle of potty training and some kind of behavioural regression so love life rn

21 weeks homeschooling my five-year-old with not a single break I am exhausted. Getting into the habit of napping once a day if needed and learning my limits. I can’t walk to town and back anymore or I’ll be paying for it for two days 😂 it really is difficult going from having so much energy to having to learn what you can and can’t manage.

Thanks for all your replies ladies making me feel less alone in my sheer exhaustion. My toddlers off to sleep in half an hour and I won’t be far behind her 😃 x

Yes 21 weeks with a 2 year old and it’s hitting me hard in the evenings I’m so done! I was still working out with my first but this time is a struggle

I could have written this 😂 first pregnancy was so enjoyable in comparison, I feel so guilty but I’ve had enough already 😅 trying to stay fit as well is so hard, I love exercise and managed it right till the end last time but like you now even walking with the buggy is a mission x

Yep!
20+ weeks with a 2 year old toddler and I’m exhausted.
I work 5 days a week, 8 hour days with an hour drive each way and lately I’ve found myself falling asleep at my desk.
We also recently moved so I spend my weekends unpacking boxes and trying to decorate the house 🙃
The physio I am seeing for PGP has put some recommendations to my employer for workplace adjustments, one of which is a WFH arrangement so I’m hoping they’ll implement that and it’ll help with my exhaustion 🤞🏼

Yes 22 weeks with a 1 year old I struggle to walk half way down street
I had my 4d scan and omg so in love . 🥹😍 was debating if to get one or not and so glad I did .

We went for a growth scan today as my bump was measuring smaller(currently 37 weeks) , however, they’ve said she looks to be growing really well and currently weighs 7lb 4 which is apparently slightly above average! Would this be 100% right? Or has anyone been told that their babies weight is one thing on a growth scan and completely different when they’re born? It’s our first baby so have no idea🩷

How soon did people drive after c-section?
I know the advice is 6 weeks but did anyone go sooner?

My second baby is breech at 37 weeks, my first was a vaginal birth.
How long did you ladies stay at home after your c-section? I want to have the time to recover, but I don't want to be away from my daughter for any longer than I have to.

I’m desperate to start on some abdominal strengthening exercises but am only 12 days PP 😬
I feel good following surgery and my scar is healing well! I appreciate now is probably too soon but when did other people start on recovery/strength movements?
