How long did you stay in hospital after a c-section?

This will vary a lot, especially depending on which country you're in.im in the UK and went home at 26 hours

I stayed 2 nights/3 days but I paid for the private suite after birth so I could recover and get help. Mum flew in to look after our toddler but we have no village whatsoever so that was our moment of zen alone with baby.

In the US, it is common practice to stay two nights. Give birth day one, come home day three. We had unlimited visits during the day, so could have had another kid be there as much as they wanted

Went in at 7am on Monday morning and left about 5pm on Tuesday, they offered us another night if we wanted but we were keen to get home!x

Had my c section at 10pm and was discharged at 5pm the next day, less than 24 hours! I could’ve stayed for longer if I wanted to☺️

Stayed overnight and was released to walk out the hospital 9pm the next night

First c section was an emergency and I was in two nights. Second was elective and I was in one night.

In the uk it depends on how you and baby are doing but it says no more than a few days if all goes well

I was in for a week due to an infection but I’d say stay as long as you can and are able, recovery can suck , use the help that’s there xx

My first was breech and was born at 38 weeks, was home the day after

Depends on how you and baby are after, I stayed 2 nights because they thought my baby might have had an infection but I know women who come home within 24 hours

I’m from the UK and stayed one night, I had my op at 10am on the Wednesday and went home at 1pm on the Thursday x

With my first I had the operation Monday night and went home Wednesday at 4ish, with my second I was discharged after 24hrs ☺️
