Growth scan!

There is lots of research on big babies on ultrasound Vs birth weight.

They say there's a 15-20% accuracy difference for ultrasound measurements as they estimating weight on femur length, head circumference and abdominal circumference.

I have been told my baby is on the 99.6th percentile for weight although everyone tells me I'm tiny. I am 36+5, and they estimated her weight at 7lb 4 at my scan last week!.

I'm not too worried. They get it wrong Alot. As long as everything else is healthy with you and baby that's all that matters x

I know what you mean about the over packing. Don't want to forget anything and you just never know which course labour is going to take so need to pack for all options....but could be straightforward and be home same day 😂

Tbh I never paid TOO much attention to the estimated weight from our scans with my first. There's a margin of error of like 10-20% either way. I would take it with a pinch of salt, and not make any major decisions based on the estimated foetal weight x
