Working parents - what is the sweet spot for hours worked?

Feeling really overwhelmed juggling my job and parenting, all the life admin etc. We don't have a support system nearby so it's just my husband and I and we are struggling.

I went back to work FT (but work 4 longer days) and my working days are intense.

Would love to hear from other mamas who are working - what hours do you do per week, and do you find it manageable?

Thinking I might need to put in a new flexible working request. I wanted the hours for the money, but now I'm not sure it's worth the stress I'm feeling daily.

Would anybody like to chat?!

I'm a little under the weather and also a stay at home mom for the time being so I'm up for all the talks today. It's been so hard to find new friends (or even keep up with current friends) and I so miss the socializing at work.
