I’m trying to be conscious about not overbuying too much for our baby as he will have so much new stuff from birth along with all the gifts from family and friends, both when he’s born and Christmas!
Has anyone had any creative ideas for their first Christmas present? Something to make it still special, but without buying something he won’t need x
I was thinking something like a personalised stocking he can keep for every Christmas after, but I might change my idea for his name!
PS- yes I’m sorting out Christmas presents now, cos there’s no chance I’m doing them all with a newborn 😅😂 x

I bought a few cute bath toys for baby like bubble machines
We got him a personalised stocking and matching pjs
Can’t think of anything else x

My parents always gave us one new ornament each year that related to a special family moment. Maybe make an ornament with baby’s hand print or foot print. We did that with my daughter last year and it will be special for us to have on the tree year after year and for her to take with her when she has her own home.

For my sons first Christmas my mum bought him a waterfords Christmas bauble in the shape of a dummy and was planning on buying him one every year to match where he was developmentally like a shoe once toddling ect, i thought it was a lovely idea and might be a nice tradition for you to start x

With my first, we got a hand print bauble and I will be doing the same for this baby. I also buy a new bauble each year with the year on. We all have personalised stockings (even the dog 😂) and i will be getting baby one to match. Also, for my first child's Christmas we did a photo Christmas card. It was him in his Christmas outfit infront of the tree. We sent it to family and friends and they loved it still have it.
Toy wise, im going minimal, but I have seen this I like the look of

I’m tired of asking nicely… which one of you bitches wanna be friends? 😂💕
I’m a wife, mom of two boys, and teacher who loves shopping, family time, and a good laugh. I’m looking for a real friend to talk to, make plans with, and maybe take a girls’ trip along the way. If you’re looking for your person too, message me! 🫶🏽

Feeling really overwhelmed juggling my job and parenting, all the life admin etc. We don't have a support system nearby so it's just my husband and I and we are struggling.
I went back to work FT (but work 4 longer days) and my working days are intense.
Would love to hear from other mamas who are working - what hours do you do per week, and do you find it manageable?
Thinking I might need to put in a new flexible working request. I wanted the hours for the money, but now I'm not sure it's worth the stress I'm feeling daily.

I'm a little under the weather and also a stay at home mom for the time being so I'm up for all the talks today. It's been so hard to find new friends (or even keep up with current friends) and I so miss the socializing at work. I've met a lot of really cool moms on here but not many have stuck! 😩👻 Would love to find a bestie girl to test with consistently, vent with maybe meet up with at some point. I love baking, reading, binge watching TV shows, working out, crafting. All the tingzzzz. Feel free to message :)

Me and my partner have decided to start trying again for a sibling for our little boy, we know it’s not going to happen instantly but how long did it take you?

I’m 12 weeks pregnant and horny as hell 😭 My baby’s father and I broke up, but I don’t want to sleep with anyone else while I’m pregnant. It just doesn’t feel right for me, especially when I’m not in a relationship with them.
Part of me wants to reach out to my baby’s father just for sex, but I’m worried that would pull me back into something emotionally messy. I also heard that going without sex during pregnancy could make you more likely to tear during labor. Is that even true?
Has anyone else been in this position? What did you do?
