Just feeling sorry for myself without mum around!

My parents live far away and I’m starting to really struggle now my baby is moving more and napping less. I just wish my mum lived nearby rather than seeing her every 2/3 months - it sucks.

I just hate not having people around I can just ask if they can sit with my baby whilst I do chores etc…

More of a moan but does anyone have any advice..

I feel you, we move every 2/3 years and the closest I've been to my family is 2 hours ish and the furthest 4 1/2 and it's the same for his family. Me and my husband are the village. Can you schedule to go home any more? Frequent facetimes? I'd suggest going to groups to make some friends x

I’m the same. My partners mum is close by, but it’s not the same. With my first I went to loads of baby groups and made friends and now do feel like I have more of a village, but still wished I lived closer to my parents!

Same here. SMBC and my parents are dead. No close friends so it's just me and him. Omg it's hard. But the plus side is no interfering, overbearing in-laws and people doing things with your baby that you're not happy with. Maybe think about all the advantages of your situation. This is what I do whenever it all feels like it's a bit too much. Hope this helps...

Raging at my OBGYN

Vent

So my OB really is making this journey a pain in the ass. First they scheduled me with a doctor who is retiring this winter and no longer takes patients--so I was rescheduled twice with my current doctor. That was two separate occasions.
I then needed approval for medication for my asthma because I was suffocating from a flare up. They never called back after 3 days and contacting the office is a bitch since AI answers calls. I was going to wait for my next appointment to get meds but I'm so unwell that I got an emergency script.

Then today I was suppose to have said appointment plus my anatomy scan. Husband takes off work for the day, excited to see his little man and ensure I'm healthy. I get a call last minute to reschedule because my doctor moved offices.

Last time I checked the doctor needs to be flexible with a patient's schedule. Not the other way around. Especially in a day and age when both parties have to work in this shit economy so making time for an appointment can be a hassle.

If they mess up again I'm switching clinics because I'm 20 weeks and I don't have the patience for all this nonsense. They screwed up 3/4 appointments so far and I've had it.

I'm already very nervous about how my baby is doing. I've only seen him once in a scan at 7 weeks and he was only a tiny bean.

My family is super excited and they're getting equally as pissed with me when it comes to the doctor's office. 🫩

Love?

If you were to ask your husband if he still loves you and he responds, “I suppose” how would you take it?

Venting time !

How come I join a group chat and there a lot of girls and I try to talk or even make a conversation with those girls and never once someone talk to me or even acknowledge me. I just wanted friends or someone to talk to or vent about during the days but moms make it hard to make friends . Either they judge me or they dislike me .
