I’m currently 7 weeks 5 days and almost ready to announce my pregnancy, how did everyone announce? I’d love to see some ideas! Also drop around what week you announced as well! ♥️♥️😮

With my first 2 or so months we told my mom and in laws thru text and my Mil decided to tell the rest of her side of the family before we could . With my second pregnancy I would’ve been around 10 weeks and we didn’t say a word just went in town to c family and sent my siblings and mom a photo of my oldest in a big brother sweater and waited for ppl to notice . With my final pregnancy I sent a photo of my toddler holding a baby brother jammies when I was around 12 or so weeks

We bought a little Etsy template with our first and said baby Steele coming (the month and year) with my second and third we just had a little ultrasound picture at the end of other pictures we posted I think they were all like birthday photos or something so people only knew if they scrolled to the end of the photos. I think first and second we announced around 8 ish weeks. With my third. Was around 16/17 weeks and only because I was most definitely starting to show and I decided to just say something so people didn’t have to question everything lol

I just text all my family & friends and told work when i passed my 12 week scan assured all was well. I didn’t do social media as I don’t believe in over sharing personal milestones like that till baby arrives x

I was so excited I FaceTimed my mum and step dad the day I took the test. Waited to tell the rest of the family, close friends and work on the 12 week scan, just sent the photo into the group chats. We then posted it to social media a few weeks later.

My cousin has just announced their pregnancy, by cooking a meal for his immediate family and telling me them, then posting their 12 week scan to our family chats.
Hi everyone. I had my 28 week appt today, my bp was 126/76, midwife wasn’t concerned but I searched it and says it’s slightly elevated 😭

I definitely failed my 2 hour glucose test on Tuesday this week, with numbers out of range on both my fasting and 1 hour blood draw. I may be rushing my doctor, but I messaged and called because I am going overseas in less than a week and need to know if I need to, say pick up supplies or be medicated. Is it normal for no one to reach out after a failed glucose test, or respond at all?

Just a positive post to say that there is light at the end of the tunnel for those of you with babies going through the witching hours! My baby boy is now almost 8 weeks old, from around 3 weeks he was inconsolable for a couple of hours anywhere between 5pm and 9pm, but the past three nights has been so much better!
It is a haaaaarrrrdddd phase though! If you are going through it, what helped me was holding him securely while bouncing on my birthing ball and singing slowed down versions of my fave pop songs (twinkle twinkle got old v fast!) and then tapping in and out with my husband when it got too much.
Hoping I've not jinxed it with this post 😅
