My little one is 20 weeks and refused a nap this afternoon so wondering if we should be dropping a nap down to 3 naps?
Would people mind commenting baby age and how many naps they have a day please?
FYI… baby is a terrible sleeper, still 1-2 hourly wakes at night generally, with extremely rare longer stretches. At this point I have nothing really to lose in changing day sleep 😂

My boy is 20 weeks on Friday and has 3 naps a day, i just follow his cues really. He sleeps from 6/7pm until about 7/8am with a dream feed at 11pm with some medication hes on

We typically have 3, he was 4 months on the 17th May…my little one sleeps quite well at night he typically does 6.30 - 4am then another feed and wakes again around 6am, I do find if he hasn’t slept well in the day his sleep at night is worse but I know how hard it can be to get them to nap in the day.
The last nap is always on the boob, unless we’re out and about and he will fall asleep in the car/pushchair xx

23 weeks, 3 naps a day. Fellow horrible sleeper 😅 he has huge wake windows all of a sudden though. I have found by accident (we’re currently abroad) the less day sleep he has the ‘better’ he sleeps at night x

My LO is 20 weeks and she has 3 naps a day but these are only really happening when I feed to sleep / in the car x

I’ve been on 3 naps for a while! 19 weeks :) sleeps 9+ hour stretches overnight!

I am reading all’those comment and i wanna die ! How you guys have babies that sleeps so well ? Mine wakeup every single hours ! But sleeps well during the day like 4/5 naps as we are in and out the car a lot with the big sister and the part time school toddler

My lg is 21 weeks and usually has one long nap, 2-3 hours and a cat nap on a boob around 4pm.

19 weeks and 4 naps if they are short (most days are!) but if she wakes up later or has one nap longer it’s 3

21 weeks and 3 naps a day. Roughly an hour and a half about 9, an hour and a half about 12:30 then 20-30 minutes at about 4. However if naps are shorter or end earlier then I do a short 4th one. Bedtime at 7.

19 weeks and sometimes she does 4 naps (about 30min each), sometimes only 3 (with one longer). Trying to follow her cues.

My little boy is 20 weeks and he's having 3 naps a day, we try and have a longer one in the morning (contact nap) as I'm usually out in the afternoon so that one is usually just 30 mins. And then one around 5pm, bedtime around 8pm

19 weeks, does 5 short naps (around 40m) and normally sleeps 7pm until 6:30am but has been a good sleeper so far 🙏🏼

19 weeks and on 4 naps but I’m willing her to go to 3 because you just feel you are constantly getting baby to sleep!

20 weeks today. She usually is on 4 x 30 minutes. If we’ve been swimming she will do a long nap and have 3 naps. I wish the 30 minute naps would get longer so we didn’t have so many. I hate the whole nap situation 😅

19 weeks & for the past 2 weeks I’d say she’s down to 3 naps with an odd day here or there with 4 naps if she woke up around 6ish instead or 7/8ish. The duration of each nap varies, can be anywhere from 30mins to 2hrs, and total day time sleep is between 2.5 - 3.5hrs.
Also a terrible sleeper, can be up anywhere between 2-7 times at night, no consistency. And don’t think having more or less day sleep makes any difference lol. Honestly, these days I don’t even remember how many times she’s up at night as I’ve gotten so good with feeding & co-sleeping!

18 weeks and he’ll have 2 naps, a morning and afternoon then usually goes to bed around 7/8pm and will sleep right through sometimes until after 9am. His naps during the day last anywhere from 30mins to 2 hours depending on the day

20 week old girl and she’s napping 3 times a day anywhere between 20 mins - 50 mins really, then goes to sleep around 8pm - 4.30am and then again from around 5.30am - 8/9am! I try to limit the last nap to 5.30pm max and then try to keep her up until bedtime so she sleeps better at night
4 week old baby - Should we wake a baby up if they’ve been sleeping for 2+ hours (for example)
When do we wake them up or we let them wake naturally?

Has anyone successfully gotten rid of dummies before 12 months? We only use it to fall asleep then he spits it straight out, doesn’t wake looking for it in the night so just want to remove it all together before he gets attached, any advice?

How did you transition your baby to a sleeping bag from a swaddle if you used one? What age were they and how long did it take for them to get used to it? My 8 week old has a really strong startle reflex and constantly wakes himself up from his arms 🫠

Im a pregnant university student and I was wondering if anyone would actually be interested in filling out a questionnaire for postpartum depression risk factors before I decided what my topic is. I think this topic definitely needs more research and now that im about to be a mum its given me a new perspective on how stigmatised mothers mental health can be

3 weeks 2 days postpartum today and mannnnn I cannot wait to stop wearing pads 🙃
I’m now using normal pads rather than postpartum maternity pads but I’m so sick of it, it makes me feel so unclean and unhygienic. Anyone else?
If you’ve already stopped bleeding / had a previous pregnancy, how long did it take for your bleeding to stop?
