How did you transition your baby to a sleeping bag from a swaddle if you used one? What age were they and how long did it take for them to get used to it? My 8 week old has a really strong startle reflex and constantly wakes himself up from his arms ðŸ«

We went from the swaddle to the tommee tippee sleep sack with arms in the started naps with arms out before doing nights with arms out

We went to an arms up style swaddle sack at about 4 months. Like love to dream but preferred a brand called SwaddleDesigns. This allows her to reposition herself if she rolls but covers her hands still. She likes to chew on the hand/mittens. Without this she wakes herself up a lot by rubbing her eyes constantly.
She's 6 months now, and still sleeps in these as they are the right mix of freedom and cosiness.

We used love to dream arms up because he had a really strong startle reflex - the only way he could sleep. They do a transitional swaddle where you can take the arms off. We took one arm off for a couple of nights then took both arms off. Seemed to work 😊 my LO was about 15 weeks when we used the transitional swaddle as he was beginning to roll on his side.
4 week old baby - Should we wake a baby up if they’ve been sleeping for 2+ hours (for example)
When do we wake them up or we let them wake naturally?

Has anyone successfully gotten rid of dummies before 12 months? We only use it to fall asleep then he spits it straight out, doesn’t wake looking for it in the night so just want to remove it all together before he gets attached, any advice?

My little one is 20 weeks and refused a nap this afternoon so wondering if we should be dropping a nap down to 3 naps?
Would people mind commenting baby age and how many naps they have a day please?
FYI… baby is a terrible sleeper, still 1-2 hourly wakes at night generally, with extremely rare longer stretches. At this point I have nothing really to lose in changing day sleep 😂

Im a pregnant university student and I was wondering if anyone would actually be interested in filling out a questionnaire for postpartum depression risk factors before I decided what my topic is. I think this topic definitely needs more research and now that im about to be a mum its given me a new perspective on how stigmatised mothers mental health can be

3 weeks 2 days postpartum today and mannnnn I cannot wait to stop wearing pads 🙃
I’m now using normal pads rather than postpartum maternity pads but I’m so sick of it, it makes me feel so unclean and unhygienic. Anyone else?
If you’ve already stopped bleeding / had a previous pregnancy, how long did it take for your bleeding to stop?
