4 week old baby - Should we wake a baby up if they’ve been sleeping for 2+ hours (for example)
When do we wake them up or we let them wake naturally?

I’ve always just let my baby sleep until she wakes up she’s 3 months old when she’s tired she asleep and I don’t wanna wake her up so she’s in a bad mood at all. She’s always had quite long naps but has quite long awake periods at the same time so it does even out.

If the baby didn’t achieve the birth weight yet, yes you should wake them up every 3 hours
If the babi have reached the weight then you don’t have to worry as much.

My baby is 4 weeks we wake her every 3 hours throughout the day and let her wake herself for a feed at night but we never let her go more then 6 hours at night

During the day or overnight?

as long as they've regained birth weight just let them sleep. they'll tell you when they're hungry

If daytime, feed at 3 hours (doesn't have to wake if she feeds well while asleep). Night time, let her sleep if back to birth weight

Baby is 9 weeks - we’ve been out to shopping centre/family but I panic so much thinking about his feeds - mainly, how will I make his milk when out/ will he run out?
I usually take ready made milk and feel ‘safe’ around shops as I can always buy milk if we run out. I’ve stoped this now as it’s too expensive and I have everything I need to prepare his milk.. so no excuse!
I always take so many bottles/ rapid cool/ flask with hot water / bottle with cool boiled water - I have everything but it causes me so much anxiety especially when I see others preparing milk with ease and confidence!
I just can’t work out the best way to prepare his bottles when out.
Also, as I take sooo much stuff as I don’t want to run out - I can’t fit everything into my bag 😩🙈
What do you find works for you? Thank you

Has anyone successfully gotten rid of dummies before 12 months? We only use it to fall asleep then he spits it straight out, doesn’t wake looking for it in the night so just want to remove it all together before he gets attached, any advice?

My 3 month old (just turned) if not asleep will just scream and cry whenever awake, we maybe get 5 minutes maximum where we can interact/play because the rest of the time she is so unhappy!
I dont know if I want help, ideas of what could be the cause, reassurance, just anything right now 🫠🥹 ps. It's not just when she's tired, it's all the time x

My little one is 20 weeks and refused a nap this afternoon so wondering if we should be dropping a nap down to 3 naps?
Would people mind commenting baby age and how many naps they have a day please?
FYI… baby is a terrible sleeper, still 1-2 hourly wakes at night generally, with extremely rare longer stretches. At this point I have nothing really to lose in changing day sleep 😂

Im a pregnant university student and I was wondering if anyone would actually be interested in filling out a questionnaire for postpartum depression risk factors before I decided what my topic is. I think this topic definitely needs more research and now that im about to be a mum its given me a new perspective on how stigmatised mothers mental health can be
