Yall why in the world haven’t I had an ultrasound since 18 WEEKS ! I’m 33-34 weeks and I had to ask for one and they still was debating about it I think that’s ridiculous as hell in my opinion older doctors are so annoying they too deep into their job to actually care about moms it just seem like they do it for so long they don’t even care anymore

I haven’t had an ultrasound since 24 weeks and I’m 36 weeks on Tuesday. My OB said my next one will be at 38 weeks to ensure she’s head down

My ob does it monthly. I think its different for every doctor. It probably depends on insurance too

It depends on if you are high risk or not. If you are low risk there aren't that many like 3 or 4 total in the pregnancy. For high risk like I am we get a lot of ultrasounds. I had one 4 weeks ago at 29 weeks. I have one on Monday and every week after until my induction day or I naturally go into labor. They won't let me go past 39 weeks though because now I have gestational diabetes. The extra ultrasounds are nice but they are expensive. Seeing the regular OBGYN doesn't cost me anything with my insurance but the Maternal Fetal Medical specialist that does my ultrasounds I have a $15 copay with each visit which is going to add up fast with these weekly visits.

My last ultrasound was at 20 weeks and I asked if id have another. My OB said they usually dont do any more ultrasounds after your growth/anatomy ultrasound unless theres a medical reason. If Your considered high risk or if your baby isn't growing sufficiently and your belly is measuring on the small side.

I’m almost 35 weeks, my last one was at 32 weeks, my next one is Tuesday the 13th

In my area, most insurances cover 1 ultrasound for anatomy scan usually between 18 and 22 weeks. Anything additional has to be medically indicated to the insurance standard

my last was 32 weeks. my next one is at 36 weeks. im also high risk

I had mine at 20 weeks for my anatomy the next would have been 36 weeks like a usual growth scan but because I have big babies we are doing an early growth scan at 32 weeks so this upcoming week is my appointment

Mine was 32 weeks but only because I had to redo my anatomy scan to see if her kidney got better but if I didn’t have to do that it would’ve been 20 weeks
Has anyone had a c section scheduled, but then baby decided to come early? What happened then? Were they still able to do a c section?

I am aware that the fear I am having is irrational but I am seeking similar stories and some re-assurance. I had a private scan which I thought was 9th week, it proved to be 13+3 weeks, despite rushing to book NHS appts, I missed the window for NT check against Down Syndrome. My blood test against the syndrome at 17 weeks came back low risk, my 20 week anomaly scan showed no concerns and everything is fine, including nuchal fold in norm. However, due to the fact I had no NT checked (I realised post private scan that it was just a basic one), I am kinda freaking out as I am 40, already feel guilty that I got my dates so wrong at the start, and the private examiner asked if I planned the blood tests which felt a bit odd. It might have been just a routine question, however it's stuck with me. Any similar stories? With happy ending of course 🙈😅

Hey! Just been diagnosed with GD, I’m not sure how I feel about it other than trying my best not to overthink! Does anyone have any tips or has anyone else had GD? 🩷

Hi all,
Had my 28 week scan and baby was measuring 67th percentile overall, but head at 97th percentile.
Freaking out that something is wrong with their brain and have to wait until Thursday for my 32 week growth scan.
Had a loss at 24 weeks last year and don't think I could cope with more bad news :(

I have no idea what I’m looking at here and am not convinced from this scan 😅 currently 16wks and baby was in such an awkward position they couldn’t even show us live on the screen

I'm 30 weeks today and I am EXHAUSTED! It's unlike first trimester (which was awful) in that I'm so sore, I'm constantly in pain, I have so much to do before our baby girl comes but I can't find the energy. To be fair, before pregnancy I was already struggling with chronic illness like fibromyalgia and migraines and a bladder condition but now I'm just miserable nonstop. My husband told me today that going on a walk might help but I feel like I'm struggling to even cook dinner a few times a week and I am too sore/swollen to even go to the grocery store. I know it won't get better but damn my brain keeps telling me I'm lazy and it sucks!!!
