I'm 30 weeks today and I am EXHAUSTED! It's unlike first trimester (which was awful) in that I'm so sore, I'm constantly in pain, I have so much to do before our baby girl comes but I can't find the energy. To be fair, before pregnancy I was already struggling with chronic illness like fibromyalgia and migraines and a bladder condition but now I'm just miserable nonstop. My husband told me today that going on a walk might help but I feel like I'm struggling to even cook dinner a few times a week and I am too sore/swollen to even go to the grocery store. I know it won't get better but damn my brain keeps telling me I'm lazy and it sucks!!!

Same girl, I feel you. I have enough energy to do one thing a day.

31 here with POTS and other issues and I feel ya. Hoping for time to pass quickly 🙃

I'm impressed you're still up and cooking at all! It's so normal what you're going through, literally all the pregnancy guides talk about this! I'm taking so many naps these days. Your body is actually doing an incredible amount of work without you even taking a step. Try to cut yourself a break, and treat your body and fried nervous system to something nice like a spa day, prenatal massage, hiring a maid for a couple weeks or whatever might make you feel pampered and nurtured.
My water broke around 8 AM this morning with a pretty big gush, and I’ve continued leaking some fluid since then. I’m GBS positive, but I’m barely having any contractions — maybe just a couple all day.
I’m trying to figure out whether I should head to Labor & Delivery now or stay home a little longer, rest, and wait to see if contractions start on their own. I’d really prefer not to go in too early if everything is okay.
For those of you who were GBS positive and had your water break before contractions started, how long did you stay home before going to the hospital? What did your OB/midwife recommend?
Just to add — I’m really trying to avoid being induced and give my body a chance to go into labor naturally. From what I’ve read, the actual percentage of babies who develop a GBS infection is very small, even without antibiotics. I’m obviously not trying to put my baby at risk, just trying to understand how long it’s reasonable to wait for contractions to start naturally.

Has anyone had a c section scheduled, but then baby decided to come early? What happened then? Were they still able to do a c section?

Is there any other girlies on here that have EDS or HEDS going through pregnancy or have already? I’m only 12 weeks and I’m really struggling with my hips, everyone just keeps saying walking will help but it seems to make them worse😩 message me if you have had anything similar x

My LO is turning 1 on the 20th and I feel like I’ve failed in a way because I have no support village no friends and I feel like he will miss out on experiencing a celebration. I’ve brought him so many presents and I’m taking him to the sea life centre he loves fish, whales etc.. and I’m going to decorate the room for when he wakes up. But I just feel like I’ve failed 😞💔

Hi all, yesterday morning a woke up with a slight pain on the right side of my back. Sort of between my spine and shoulder blade but I think it’s deep within the shoulder blade. Anyway, it progressed so badly yesterday that breathing became painful, and I could not sit or stand in a comfortable position. I couldn’t lie down in my bed. My mum came over with Deep Heat (absolute QUEEN) which helped short term just relieve somewhat of the pain. And I took like double-action meds. But it’s not going, it’s still so painful, over 24 hours, I can’t sip water without it being excruciating, still breathing is hard. And all general movement. Has anyone experienced this? I ask because i literally can not bare to deal with one more doctor who sits there with lights on and nobody home type of thing, and i leave with no idea or help lol
