My 5-month-old son doesn't want to lie in the carrycot during walks because he wants to see more of what's going on around him. He isn't sitting up yet, so I’d prefer not to put him in a sitting position. Is it okay to place him in the stroller seat if it’s fully reclined?

Does your stroller adjust? I had one of those grow with me, and I just had to do half sitting like a car sit type of deal, I added some blankets for support since she wasn't sitting yet. I also use baby carrier for walks

I have also 2yo kids so baby carrier is not always handy. My stroller is buggaboo donkey so I can put it fully flat but it is not adjustable in terms of hight of putting is up s separately the back

I think you can do semi reclined if your baby has some neck control. Mine is 3.5 months and I use a mompush stroller that can lie flat or be upright. I set it at 30 degrees for him when he's awake and if he falls asleep in it, I put it back to flat for the rest of the walk.

Give him a try! My daughter moved to sitting up at 4 months old, she hated being laid down from day one but loved sitting up parent facing! As long as straps are done properly and give good support he should be fine and you can keep an eye on him to make sure he’s not slumped in the seat anyway x

We just changed ours to the stroller seat from bassinet at 5 months as he had gotten too long for it. We reclined the seat back so he’s not sat upright and he loved being able to see more!

I used to put the boppy on the bassinet and do tummy time
My husband works during the week and I’m on mat leave. I start my LO bedtime routine at 8pm and she needs to be held to sleep (she’s 12 weeks) so basically my bedtime has now become the same as hers. During the week he doesn’t get up at night to help with the baby because of work and he needs his rest but on the weekends he stays up all night playing video games and will complain that he couldn’t sleep.
I feel like if he’s up anyway, he could help with putting her to sleep but since she’s EBF, he will use the excuse that he can’t feed her so he can’t. Is it fair for me to be upset about this?
Edit: will also add that on weekends , he will wake up around 2pm but then will spend a few hours with her and encourages me to do something for myself. But it’s the nights that get me!

Hey everyone,
I have just bought the Joie GTI spin car seat for my 10 month old but having major issues with her head leaning forward when she falls asleep…
I’ve got the reclining back on the car seat as much as it will go, and think that the head rest is at the right level.
Does anyone else have this problem and know what I can do about it? or whether it is just the car seat in general?
Thank you x

So I’m 8 weeks pregnant. My youngest just turned 1 August 10th I also have a 7 yr old 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. I told my mom I was pregnant only because eventually she would notice. But yesterday she said something that bothered me then tried to flip it. Basically she was like “ the nurse told you your last pregnancy that your body was under stress because you keep having babies back to back “ “ I hope this one doesn’t kill you “ I hope this one doesn’t take you out “ so it didnt dawn on me till she hung up the phone . in my mind I’m like that’s really fucked up to say. She says I took it in the wrong context but how??? I told her actually by her saying that I could be very traumatized worrying about if I’m going to die or not. She’s like “ well I’m traumatized because of what the nurse told you last yr “ like wtf now it’s about her. Please share your thought.

How seriously should we be taking nap times and wake times? My LO is 12 weeks old and I take her wake times seriously but so much so that I will stay home all day because I want her to nap properly given how short the wake windows are. My partner takes them lightly, and says she’ll sleep on the go (idk how when she hates her pram and will only sleep if I babywear.) Am I overcomplicating things or is he underestimating things?

When do babies get “set” nap times. I know they will be slightly difference but not sure when they get into a routine
