My baby just will not stay settled at night. Just gone 6 weeks old. I can transfer her from me to cot fine after a feed, then within 15mins she is fussing and unsettled, reflux, being sick, wakes herself up then is crying or wide awake. This goes on for 2hrs until she then starts fussing for a feed 2hrs after the last feed.
I literally cannot get any sleep
Seems thats everyone else's baby sleeps better. I have a 4 yr old and had horrendous sleep with him to for 2 yrs. Why is it happening to me again, I actually said I'd never have another child due to the such bad sleep if my 1st child, then convinced myself it'd be better 2nd time
..and its not proving that way. I cant catch a break 😥
Ive tried everything to make her settle and she wont

Mine woke at 2am.. we are still awake as we speak. Its my first and he is 4 weeks old. Im so exhausted I cant produce tears anymore. Your not alone.

How long do you hold her upright after a feed? Have you spoken to a dr about the reflux? Have you tried a dummy? Are you using a sleeping bag/swaddle? If shes just making noise and not crying you can just leave her in the cot in the dark with white noise going you don't need to pick her up

Some nights the only thing that will settle my boy is bouncing on the gym ball. And I mean bouncing. Hard. We start with him upright then cradle. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes it takes an hour.
Our GP prescribed gaviscon for reflux but we haven't noticed much of a difference.
It's exhausting but majority of the time it works.

We have started co sleeping with our little one. It’s the only way he will sleep properly. I mentioned it to the health visitor when we had the 6 week appointment and she was totally in agreement that it is fine as long as we follow the guidance xx

We co sleep too as I cannot get my LO to sleep in the next to me.
We are in exactly the same boat if we do, that he starts fussing after 10-15 mins. But if I lay him in the bed next to me he stays asleep for 2-3 hours.
We follow the guidance of the Lullaby Trust and the HV was happy with our set up.
I am hoping that as he gets to the 3 month mark, I can transfer him into his next to me better

Mine mostly sleeps badly too. I need to rock him for ages just to get a contact nap in the day, and he is so gassy and refluxy, wakes up 30 min later anyway. My first had issues too, obviously it does go, but still. I was literally complaining to my partner last night how we had it so much worse than everyone else

Just here to say im in exactly the same boat, where even co sleeping doesn't seem to settle him for any longer 😢 im also full of cold so im at breaking point haha. Sorry for no advice, just wanted you to know youre not alone xx
We’ve recently moved our toddler to a single bed with a duvet for the first time. She’s manages to stay under the duvet for the first 4 hours then doesn’t have the duvet on. Currently she’s at the other end, on top of the duvet.
Will she eventually stay under?

Hi,
I’m really stressed because my mum is telling me not to get my child vaccinated with the 1 year jabs. My baby has already had the first 3 jabs but she’s really trying to get me to not get him vaccinated. I would like real opinions please. Has anyone here not had their baby jabbed? Please don’t think I’m silly for writing this, first time mum here so everything is so scary and new. Thank you!

Been awake for over an hour - baby was changed and fed but now won’t go back down in the next to me as he’s so congested and he won’t settle laying flat.
I’m exhausted and so sleep deprived yet husband is lying next to me SNORING his head off and it’s making my blood boil.

Our 6 week old baby will sleep incredibly well on us (for most of the night, we split shifts) but she won’t go down in her cot at all for longer than
20 mins (if we’re lucky). She also will only nap on us during the day.
We’ve tried a few things but looking for any tips/advice!

If you can relate, I would really appreciate if you could share your experience.
My LO is nearly 7 months, been breastfed since birth, is okay with solids, we co-sleep and wakes very frequently at night (sometimes for milk & others out of habit).
He will start full time nursery at 12 months (10 hrs a day, 5 days a week) and I am freaking out because he is nowhere near sleeping through the night and still feeds frequently from the breast.
What can I do to prepare for this huge transition?
I would like to avoid formula if possible but open to hearing all the suggestions.
What will this look like for us realistically?
What do 1 year olds eat?
Thank you!
