If you can relate, I would really appreciate if you could share your experience.
My LO is nearly 7 months, been breastfed since birth, is okay with solids, we co-sleep and wakes very frequently at night (sometimes for milk & others out of habit).
He will start full time nursery at 12 months (10 hrs a day, 5 days a week) and I am freaking out because he is nowhere near sleeping through the night and still feeds frequently from the breast.
What can I do to prepare for this huge transition?
I would like to avoid formula if possible but open to hearing all the suggestions.
What will this look like for us realistically?
What do 1 year olds eat?
Thank you!

Hi. My little one went to nursery a couple of weeks before his first birthday. For us, I would say at about 11 months we noticed he suddenly was more interested in food and would be eating a lot more for meals and introducing some snacks and that naturally as part of this he was sleeping longer through the night and wanting less milk. I had the same worries as you, prior to this I couldn't see how we were going to get him eating more etc and off the milk. He then transitioned onto oat milk (he has CMPA so we use this instead of cows milk) at 1 year old, we'd been using it in food/cooking etc. from about 7 months old which I think made this a lot easier, and we've never looked back, he's 13 months now and thriving at nursery. He eats tons at nursery, genuinely he still wakes once in the night but this is becoming less regular.

My now 4 yo started nursery the week after turning 1. Not necessarily comparable as it was only 2 days per week but she didn’t have milk during the day on those days as she only wanted to be breastfed. She fed more in the evenings and had extra yogurt during the day as she loved yogurt. By about 18 months she would drink a cup of milk. I’m going to start offering a cup of milk earlier this time rather than continuing to try (and fail) giving a bottle x
Thank you ladies. I certainly learnt a lot and feel less stressed already! My little boy has no clue what to do with a bottle 😂 cup it is then haha
We’ve recently moved our toddler to a single bed with a duvet for the first time. She’s manages to stay under the duvet for the first 4 hours then doesn’t have the duvet on. Currently she’s at the other end, on top of the duvet.
Will she eventually stay under?

Hi,
I’m really stressed because my mum is telling me not to get my child vaccinated with the 1 year jabs. My baby has already had the first 3 jabs but she’s really trying to get me to not get him vaccinated. I would like real opinions please. Has anyone here not had their baby jabbed? Please don’t think I’m silly for writing this, first time mum here so everything is so scary and new. Thank you!

My baby just will not stay settled at night. Just gone 6 weeks old. I can transfer her from me to cot fine after a feed, then within 15mins she is fussing and unsettled, reflux, being sick, wakes herself up then is crying or wide awake. This goes on for 2hrs until she then starts fussing for a feed 2hrs after the last feed.
I literally cannot get any sleep
Seems thats everyone else's baby sleeps better. I have a 4 yr old and had horrendous sleep with him to for 2 yrs. Why is it happening to me again, I actually said I'd never have another child due to the such bad sleep if my 1st child, then convinced myself it'd be better 2nd time
..and its not proving that way. I cant catch a break 😥
Ive tried everything to make her settle and she wont

Been awake for over an hour - baby was changed and fed but now won’t go back down in the next to me as he’s so congested and he won’t settle laying flat.
I’m exhausted and so sleep deprived yet husband is lying next to me SNORING his head off and it’s making my blood boil.

Our 6 week old baby will sleep incredibly well on us (for most of the night, we split shifts) but she won’t go down in her cot at all for longer than
20 mins (if we’re lucky). She also will only nap on us during the day.
We’ve tried a few things but looking for any tips/advice!

Anyone else’s little one been hit by sleep regression like a ton of bricks? 🙃.
Baby girl was sleeping so well then this past week has been struggling, last night was WILD. We are currently running on caffeine and vibes 😅✌️.
We can do this mamas.
