If you have had multiple sections, which did you find the easiest recovery wise?
I found my second a lot harder than my first as the operation was longer. Worried if I had a third, it would be even more difficult.

I recovered easiest with my second; however, my second c section surgery was more painful. I felt every single tug. My body felt stronger during recovery. With my 1st c section I literally felt like I got hit by a bus, I was very weak.

My first recovery was easiest, but my little one was in the NICU so I didn’t have lifting, feeding, sleepless nights etc…
My second was harder, but I found being mobile helped but was painful to start with.
My third was the hardest, still have pain randomly now. Recovery took longer than I anticipated but I did have a baby and a toddler at home to look after.

1st was easy, 2nd was okay, easy but a bit harder as I had a baby to look after as well as 15 month old. The 3rd was my hardest, again because I already had 2 smaller babies at home plus the newborn and no support/village.
Was driving the same week on all of them because I had no choice but to drive.
Everyone recovered differently, my best advise is to just get moving as soon as possible, and take the pain killers x

Second one was a bad

I’m struggling with my 2nd right now even 3 weeks post partum. With my first I was 100% fine by now. But in finding it hard and mentally draining. Also probably doesn’t help that they made a new incision but brought it down to my old one to “fix it” and cut through muscle to get rid of scar tissue that the surgeon said was making the old scar “bad”. All around my scar now are red dots and I have stitches sticking out of them that keep getting caught on my clothes and now my scar is more crooked then ever
I’m not usually one to be impatient and I do believe babies come when they’re ready (hence getting to 42+1 in my first pregnany).
However, I have a toddler and had a previous c-section. I’m scared about how continuing to get bigger will affect my scar / possibility of it rupturing.
I am booked for an elective section if baby is not here by next Monday - but I really would prefer a VBAC (for recovery with a toddler)
Did you do anything that you truly think helped bring on labour?

So i went in for my sweep today, i am 39+6. Baby is 3/5 engaged. I was already around 4cm dilated but NOT in active labour. Ive been having cramps for the past 2 weeks and honestly feel like the sweep did absolutely nothing🙂. I lost my mucus plug and that was about it. I feel like this baby just doesnt want to come out. Im tired and so over it. The pain is absolutely just tiring me out however everytime i go to triage to get it checked out they say its normal. I have tried everything and anything at this point. Is anyone else in the same boat or is it just me

Those who have experienced induction before, whether good or bad experiences, are you able to pinpoint why the outcome was good or bad? For example what week were you induced at and was there a point in the process that looking back was a good sign/sign things probably would not progress?
Hopefully this makes some sort of sense....

Soooo, I was really against inducing after my first baby as it was not a nice experience at all!!
But due to a change in medical conditions I’m having to be induced this week now as I want to avoid a c section due to being on my own with the kids throughout the week.
I’m just wondering if anyone else has had second time round a better experience few mums at school have said it’s a lot quicker second time round.
I’m just wondering as I now have to sort out care for my 5 year old as I was in for over a week with her😩
