C-section date
37 weeks pregnant and still waiting for my date. Seems very common not to get the date until the week before the actual op but I’m getting fed up not knowing😩 Anyone else feel the same!?😬

Yeah, I am in Gloucestershire and they give you a 5 day window, followed by a phone call exactly a week before your due date telling you what day you will be. I just want to know!
I got a text last Wednesday to say it was happening tomorrow x
I’m 38w pregnant and still waiting for my date I was hoping I might get a call this week!
I had to chase mine up constantly finally got it at 38+2 having baby tomorrow at 39+2 this is my 3rd section aswell 🙈
Ive got mine friday. Got booked in a few weeks ago by my consultant
I've had mine booked in for 40+4 but was told I could bring it forward if I wanted, which I've decided I do, but now getting a hold of the right team to change it for me seems impossible??
I thought I wouldn't mind going into labour if it happens, but the thought is starting to stress me out, I want my date changed to the 39th week instead.. no idea if I'll manage to get it arranged..!

Induced?
I went into triage today after having reduced movements after my sweep yesterday. They have offered for me to be induced tomorrow morning. They said my waters are bulging and that i am already 4cm dilated. But not in active labour.
They said they were gonna break my waters and try the balloon. I had a previous c section before and was really hoping for a VBAC this time: does anyone have any words of wisdom? Am i making the right choice in being induced?

First time labour!
Hey guys, I’m due on the 20th and have seen lots of people say they don’t want inductions, sweeps etc, is there any reason for this? I’d love to know different opinions as I’m so open to anything, thank you 🫶🏻

20 Week Scan
Had my 20 week Scan today. They couldn’t get a proper view of baby’s heart so asked us to return next week, everything else looked fine. And I also have a low lying placenta. Anyone else have this?

Tell me what it’s like
I’ve had one emergency c section and I was under a general anaesthetic so I don’t really know what it’s like. I also didn’t really have any issues with recovery other than lots of bleeding for way too long. I’m planning to have another one with next baby but I don’t really know what I’m in for. Can you tell me all your experiences, how did it go, good and bad! I want to have my eyes open!
