the doctor did inform me , i should be having her on 3 meals and 2 bottles a day now (shes also just turning 8 months) but my baby rathers the milk so i give the food and give the milk behind it if she allows me to

At the start of purées and stuff it’s very normal to only do a few tablespoons at a time and really I think only like one or two times a day I think. If he isn’t really taking them I wouldn’t necessarily force it. Maybe don’t completely stop but try different options.
Have you made homemade purées? Some jarred baby food honestly tastes nasty if you try it yourself.
What kind of foods are you offering? Maybe try more bland foods that would be similar in taste level to milk. Plain mashed potatoes could be something to try, maybe some form of white bean in purée form, white rice, plain oats (blitzed first into powder then cooked), lentils maybe?
Fruits could be too much flavor for him right now possibly.

I’m also trying for minimum 2 meals a day but my daughter barely takes in that much (3-4 teaspoons)! I offer quite a bit. My daughter eats more like 1-2 teaspoons if I’m lucky. Milk still every 3 hours or so. It’s rough I’m scared she’s behind but not sure either?

3 meals at 4oz each and 4 bottles 7oz, 5oz, 5oz, 7oz. 🫣 she will not tolerate anything less.
