I was putting my son to bed after a nice day together, and he just came out with it. 10 minutes prior he said ‘ I love you mummy’ then he said ‘I hate you but you’re part of my family’ 🫠 His little sister gets a lot of my attention and my patience isn’t where it used to be, but this has just really thrown me!!! He’s a daddies boy and maybe our connection has slipped a little because of our daughter. Any advice?

My daughter says this a lot although it’s usually because I’ve said no to something. She’s never randomly said it and I know she loves me. How did you respond? Maybe spend a little 1-1 time with him doing things.

My boy would tell me he hates me but usually because I've told him off for something. At 6 I don't think they really know what hate means though like it's such a small word to cover the emotion I think they know it means I don't like you right now but that's very different to hate. I questioned mine on what hate means and he said he didnt really know 🤷♀️ do you have things you can do together like we started doing colouring books before bed to wind down or teach him solitaire with a deck of cards? We also pick a topic he wants to learn about and watch a small video on kids YouTube (last one was how a volcano erupted) but other things like deep sea life etc are so wow to them it's a good way to connect and learn together. Try not to take it to heart x

Why is it so easy for him to cheat? Why does he do it? What do I do that is so difficult for him to love me and our almost 3 month old daughter? All I know is I need to break the cycle I’m done! I rather be a single mom and struggle than deal with this all over! My self esteem is gone! Self respect in myself gone I continues forgive and forgive and forgive just to be cheated on again I just want a good man that is loyal 🙄😟😞done

Most moms can deal with their toddlers 24/7... i CAN NOT. I wonder why that is. I need a break every night

I’m a first time mum with minimal support my baby is 3 months old and I’ve googled about weaning readiness signs and she is showing a few (obviously going to wait until fully safe) however advice online is so contradicting saying it’s fine to give purées mixed with breast milk fully blended with no lumps at 4 months and others saying not to do anything until 6 months. I’m so confused. Some mums have said their baby had baby rice at just over two months old (which I don’t agree with) others have said they tried tasters at 4 months. I just don’t know what advice to follow. I know NHS say 6 months but if the readiness is there do I look into doing tasters? Who’s best to ask the health visitor or doctor? Help please

Hey everyone so I just wanted a bit of a rant really and see what you guys think. Me and my partner are buying a house and we are butting heads about different things (making me question it now tbh). Anyway we were discussing bills and my partner has said that we should be 50/50 he earns more than me and by the time everything has come out I’m left with £100 I mean he earns more how is that fair, we also have 2 children. I said he would have to help with food etc and said well I can’t get it all and you would have to help too like how with £100 left. I’m really questioning how this is going to work and questioning my relationship he was so nasty yesterday

My lil one has been on purées for a while now and has moved up in textures. I so want to give her finger food to eat but I'm absolutely petrified of choking. I don't want my anxiety to ruin her learning skills. Does anyone have any recommendations on food that are perfect to start for finger food ?
